Oathbreaker: Serra the Benevolent

Oathspell: Rootborn Defenses

Serra is a powerful Oathbreaker due to her incredible value and token generation. Some other Oathbreakers are combo pieces or enable a certain strategy, but Serra gains advantage through raw power.

In a 20 life format, 4/4 Vigilant Fliers are a real threat. Rootborn Defenses allows us to not only save our board, but smash some face for the hassle. It can be swapped for Teferi's Protection as that dodges boardwide exiles, bounces, or sacrifices, but leaves you with less power. And I assure you, you will want the ability to create more Angels to keep other Oathbreakers in check.
