Amongst the remnants of cards I had from "The Great Divide" several years ago there was a folder of cards including promos, prerelease cards and general cards I valued.

There are bits and pieces of Discard as excess from an 8Rack deck, as well as various "Liliana" cards depicting her name or her in the art (My favourite Planeswalker). I figured why not combine my love of the two into one deck?

Alot of hand punishment, some Liliana quirks, rudimentary Black removal/hate. Seems like a good enough theme behind a deck to make friends at the table for EDH.

I really wanted to shy away from good stuff and keep with a story in the deck. So alot of the theme is really around Liliana and her ability to bring things back from the dead and her ability to draw power from Swamps. There's just a little bit of Constellation in here too just because I really enjoyed that mechanic back during my hay day playing the Theros Block and specifically the Journey Into Nyx set.
