This Deck was built for a very special event. A friend organized a small tournament for his birthday. For this, everyone had to build a deck in which each card begins with the same letter. Eleven of us played simultaneously at three tables with alternating opponents, each with a different letter deck. The additional rule that all possible mana-producing nonbasic lands must be played before basics can be used ensured that the decks that could play basics at all didn't have too much of an advantage. With the M deck in this form, I was able to win 2 out of 6 games, and I was the deciding factor in two others. In the end, this deck was voted 2nd. First place went to the five color A deck.

P.S.: I know, a multicolored commander might have been a better choice, but since i wanted to build mono-colored decks, mono-red was the best choice for me.
