The "Eternal Bargain" deck is commanded by Oloro, Ageless Ascetic who possesses an inexorable mastery over life itself. Your constantly growing life total will blunt even the most aggressive attacks from your many enemies, cunningly tempting them to overextend into your board-clearing spells of mass destruction.

Oloro has abilities that gain life for you regardless of when he's on the battlefield or in your command zone, starting on your very first turn of the game. Focus on setting up one of your many life-gain-fueled combos early on. With Well of Lost Dreams tapping into this stream of live, you'll be drawing two extra cards every turn. Some of your best spells, like Toxic Deluge, are charged up by your own sinister life payments. Don't be afraid of spending life confidently whenever you need to. Between Oloro and the rest of your deck, near-death is often a temporary condition.

The steady tick-tick of your life gain will annoy your opponents to no end, and you should expect them to attack you whenever they have the opportunity. Save your targeted removal spells for the scariest threats and let your padded life total absorb the smaller attackers for as long as possible. After your successful survival into the late game, Oloro will provide you with the cards and widespread life-leaching you need to finally achieve victory.
