You should lower the amount of 3CMC cards you have and convert them into 1-drops like Goblin Lackey or even 2-drops to even out your curve better.

Dragonrage only gives you mana available during the combat phase then it will fade away on your 2nd main phase. I dont believe you have enough instant speed actions to make it worthwhile.

This deck would love Guardian Project and probably Toski, Bearer of Secrets

Yeah, you need firebreathing in this as a ready source of manadumps.

Creatures: - Flamekin Brawler - Dragon Egg - Dragon Hatchling - Chartooth Cougar - Everflame Eidolon - Immolating Souleater - Hellkite Overlord - Goblin Fire Fiend - Furnace Whelp - Molten Ravager - Tattermunge Witch

Enchantments: - Firebreathing - Captive Flame - Ghitu Firebreathing - Shiv's Embrace - Dragonrage (Instant, gives all creatures firebreathing)

I'd love to see a spell in place of Cathedral Sanctifier- especially with doublecast in the mix. Have you considered either swapping it for something like Silence (a passable lock with soulfire) or Dragonrage? Even a basic token generator would help.

Another option is to go for a heavier 'creatures matter' lifegain. Soul sisters has a lot of tools out there.

I'm not sure about the counter strategy since I worry it could be putting too many eggs in one basket. Hanweir Garrison seems like a strong fit though-I was even thinking about Hero of Bladehold when still considering Jeskai colors. I'll probably cut Descent of the Dragons for space. Descent, like overloaded Dragonshift, is something I'm only likely to play off a Dragonrage. But unlike Dragonshift, it needs an additional spell like Quicken to do so. I like the flavor of the card but it feels sluggish in practice. May as well toss in some Hanweir Battlements too since the Township could be an additional threat.

+Gravitational Shift: comeon dood

+Favorable Winds: prevents comboing out with Skullclamp but I still think its worth

Vivisection => Time Reversal: A lot of things can replace Vivisection, why play a bad Harmonize?

Dragonrage => something else (idk Arcane Denial?): Okay it's cute that you can cast x-cost instant draws with it, though you can't attack with those 1/1s, or kill someone with Cmdr dmg, but being a bad Trumpet Blast on the baseline I don't think this will make the cut. Could be wrong though

Think you might need one more Elixir of Immortality effect. Maybe one of Day's Undoing, Diminishing Returns, Learn from the Past, or Psychic Spiral for dat nostalgia

I also think you need at least one more Spellbook effect. One of Library of Leng, Venser's Journal, or Spellbook itself

Lastly I think more acceleration is probably need. 6cmc is up there and I imagine people will be hesitant to let you untap with him. Not to mention the number of X-cost draws that will reward you for having lots of mana

Sidenote, Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Curiosity is going to anger me. A lot.

There are a number of cheap, effective red kards Keldon Marauders has fallen out of favour, but is a 2 mana lava axe when it works. Nivmagus Elemental is cheap and provides limited counterspell protection and the oppertunity for combo finishes with Temur Battle Rage. Sin Prodder is dirt cheap and very effective, even without cheap delve.

With super budget the lack of lightning bolt hurts red, and lack of boros charm red white so janky combo is usually the most functional option. Board flooding with Mogg War Marshal, Foundry Street Denizen Dragon Fodder Battle Hymn Dragonrage Akroan Crusader Empty the Warrens, Haze of Rage and so forth to spam out a win. Guttersnipe used to be good but has fallen to more efficient options, leaving him pretty cheap.

Human tribal with Keldon Marauders/Thatcher Revolt/Kessig Malcontents is functional, especially with Gather the Townsfolk and Dearly Departed/Cathartic Reunion. For the non-$10 version there are some very competitive lists out there, but there are a lot of cards in modern that aren't valuable because they just aren't in short supply but are still super good.

Just a thought, try and sneak in 1-2 Hanweir Battlements to add haste in the midgame to Mikaeus or Garrison, then late game meld it into the ridiculous creature Hanweir, the Writhing Township.

Another suggestion would be the new Anointed Procession. It might slow you a turn, but if you hit that turn 3, turn 4 haste Hanweir Garrison, get 4 tokens, you're right back on track, and quickly make up for it.

Suggestion would be to drop Dragonrage, and fill those spots with some combination of the above.

Just a thought.
