The gameplay of this deck is to build up multiple combat threats at once to avoid any single removal spell setting the deck back to much. As long as Thrummingbird keeps attacking, it can turn a third of the other cards in the deck into huge piles of +1/+1 counters that will beat down your opponents. The other non-land third of the deck is aimed at protecting Thrummingbird and your threats and buying time for them to grow.
