Wanted

Kellan, the Kid

dead or alive

$10,000 reward

Kellan is wanted by the police for crimes against the environment and the robbery and destruction of the train that carries dinamite to the mines, BUT he was framed for these crimes.

Help Kellan get to the truth while escaping the law thanks to his paradoxical luck.

This deck is heavily based on the paradox mechanic, which triggers every time you cast a spell from anywhere else than your hand. Different ways to trigger paradox:

This deck uses a couple cards to give you the ability to cast cards from your deck: Elven Chorus, Fortune Teller's Talent level 2, One with the Multiverse, Augur of Autumn, and the Crystal Skull, Isu Spyglass
Foretell is an ability that can exile a card from hand face down, and later cast that same card for its foretell cost; so foretell casts from exile. in this deck I included a few cards with foretell and to support the foretell mechanic: Battle Mammoth, Ethereal Valkyrie, Green Slime, Ranar the Ever-Watchful, Sage of the Beyond, The Foretold Soldier, Behold the Multiverse, Depart the Realm, Mystic Reflection, Saw it Coming, Surge of Brilliance, Doomskar, and Ravenform. Plot is very similar to foretell, plot is an ability that can exile a card from hand face up, and at a later turn cast that same card for free as a sorcery. in this deck there are few cards to support the plot mechanic: Jace Reawakened, Make Your Own Luck, Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius, Fblthp, Lost on the Range, and Slickshot Lockpicker.
Cascade is a triggered ability that reads: "When you cast this spell, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card that costs less. You may cast it without paying its mana cost. Put the exiled cards on the bottom of your library in a random order. Multiple instances of cascade each trigger separately". cards cast with cascade are therefore cast from exile. In this deck the three cards with cascade are Apex Devastator, Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty, and Natural Reclamation. Discover is and ability that reads: "To discover X, exile cards from the top your library until you exile a nonland card with converted mana cost/mana value X or less. Cast it without paying its mana cost or put it into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order". So similarly to cascade, discover casts from exile. the only card featuring the discover keyword is Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists.
Adventures are cards with another card inside: the "smaller" card can be cast from anywhere for its cost, and while resolving goes to exile instead of the graveyard; then you can cast the "bigger" card for its own cost from exile. this deck features: Virtue of Knowledge, Virtue of Strength, Beanstalk Giant, Brazen Borrower, Horned Loch-Whale, Stormkeld Vanguard, Tlincalli Hunter, Twining Twins.
Flashback is an ability that only istants and sorceries can have, it reads: "You may cast this card from your graveyard for its flashback cost. Then exile it". In this deck I only use Sevinne's Reclamation, and the Slickshot Lockpicker to give any instant or sorcery flashback. Suspend is an ability that reads: "Rather than cast this card from your hand, you may pay X and exile it with three time counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter. When the last is removed, cast it without paying its mana cost". X is the suspend cost. Suspend therefore casts form exile too. the only cards with suspend in my deck are: Inspiring Refrain, Search for Tomorrow, Venture Forth, and Sol Talisman.
there are a few other ways in this deck to cast cards from somewhere other than your hand: there is hideaway from Mosswort Bridge, and Windbrisk Heights; Extraordinary Journey can let you cast your creatures from exile, Mind's Dilation casts the top card of any opponent from exile; Animatou's Augury can cast up to 6 cards from exile if you are lucky enough; Arcane Heist both casts spell from other player's graveyards and has the cipher ability, which casts itself every time the ciphered creature deals combat damage to a player, so it can trigger paradox tiwce in a single card; River Song's Diary holds in exile any istant or sorcery cast from hand, then if there are four or more at the start of your turn it randomly choses one to cast from exile; finally The Key to the Vault gives its equipped creature a triggered ability that exiles one card from the top of your deck and casts it without paying its cost from exile.

Finally I want to talk about a couple of cards that are just generally good to have on board and sinergise very well with Kellan, the Kid or paradox in general:
