Sooo...

I see it in your description, but why are you so opposed against Snappy, Cryptic and VClique?

I didnt read all the comments because I'm way lazy for that but why no Thragtusk?

That card is ridiculous.

Also, BMoon is in for Tron? I feel like making your deck on average worse is a bad way to combat another deck, It isnt an overwhelming amount of the meta right now so I feel it is unnecessary.

Why no Noble Hierarch or Birds of Paradise? The Hexproof claus seems kinda bad. Id much rather have my Bird eat a strike of lightning that a Finks in response to a flicker effect.

I was considering them bijschjdbcd, and I would have put them in if nbarry223 didn't suggest Worship.

But what am I supposed to put Worship in for? Supreme Verdict? That would allow me to remove 1 Blood Moon and the Fracturing Gust out of the sideboard and put Kitchen Finks entirely in the sideboard. Leaving me with more room for control. I think 2x Bant Charm mainboard and remove Dissolve for 1x Remand, 1x Restoration Angel and 1x Momentary Blink.

I don't even need Kitchen Finks sideboard actually. Nor Suppression Field. Nor Wilt-Leaf Liege or Polymorphist's Jest. I could fit in an additional Worship and put in 2 Vendilion Clique in the sideboard. Hell, I want to run 3x Worship mainboard for consistency.

Mainboarding Worship changes this deck entirely x.x I can completely ignore creature interaction and just go straight for counterspells on things that would remove them, something that a bant blink shell would do quite well. Complete with fliers to hit Liliana of the Veil and their life total, I wouldn't have to worry about anything.

No wait, Kitchen Finks is superb against control. Whereas a wrath would normally slaughter me, Kitchen Finks can bypass them in order to stay on the field. Would I even need Vendilion Clique in the sideboard since all the combos are damage combos? Or I could use Twilight Shepherd in the sideboard against control along with a Surrak Dragonclaw. A single Sigarda, Host of Herons against abzan?

Heeeeelp!

Hey !

AEther Vial, Snapcaster mage and Wall of omens would be great in this deck !

I don't have enough creatures to make AEther Vial worth it pielto, and Wall of Omens holds little to no value for me. I want to blink Eternal Witness or Mystic Snake for answers. Regarding that, Snapcaster Mage really limits the amount of times I can answer anything, as I can't use the same Path to Exile spell 3 times in a row.

Yes snapcaster isn't that good from this point of view. Don't forget that Wall of omens is a great tempo card against aggro decks tho, in addition to the blinkable draw and the consistency that may lack in your 1/2 mana drops !This being said, i like your ideas and go try it now

Have you considered Avalanche Riders as a lock-down option? With blink, the land destruction gets pretty insane. It has only one drawback: it's a 4 cmc 2/2 creature.

Wouldn't be necessary with Worship elpokitolama. I mean, it is an interesting idea and would work wonders for something like Mardu with Shriekmaw, Fiend Hunter, Tidehollow Sculler etc, but not the direction this deck wants to be going.

February 23, 2015 12:44 p.m.

I'm fairly sure you don't like the idea, but I might as well ask anyways. No manifest shenanigans?

February 23, 2015 4:54 p.m.

Femme_Fatale says... #10

Manifest isn't viable in modern thanks to Lightning Bolt and their clones, and them being 2/2's are absolutely useless. BW tokens works because them being flyers and can get buffed with vigilance and can get 2-4 tokens out with one spell. Manifest is just far too slow to do any of that.

In standard, it is definitely a thing. Mastery of the Unseen as a UW control win con and GW manifest aggro makes things really beastly. But it only works in standard because of the lack of cheap removal and a slower format.

why no Venser, Shaper Savant you can bounce spells and creatures by flashing him in at instant speed then flicker at instant speed to bounce more spells.

It's in her list of "Cards I will not use", though I'm not really sure why. Probably the cost.

Yeah, 4 mana for a 2/2 that just bounces is a little steep for me. I would have loved a 2/4. At that price I would have just ran Cryptic Command.
