Deck Breakdown

Soulflayer - Your win condition, this card is the centerpiece of the deck and never gets sided out. The goal is to get a hexproof, indestructible,

Zetalpa, Primal Dawn, Drogskol Reaver, & Chromanticore - The main goal of these creatures is to get them into the graveyard so we can exile them with Soulflayer, however sometimes we can reanimate them with unburial rites, rarely but occasionally if the games go on long enough we can cast them straight up with our Sylvan Caryatids.

Lotleth Troll - A great midrange creature that serves to get your Soulflayer enabler creatures into your graveyard and grinds out well against none-path to exile decks such as jund, and grixis. Can also give Soulflayer trample but that rarely matters.

Fanatical Firebrand - Early chip damage thats also easy to get into the graveyard for Soulflayer, it also helps against your difficult matchups like humans, affinity, infect, elves, and anything using 1 drop mana dorks.

Flamewake Phoenix -

Hazoret the Fervent - This creature serves multiple purposes. Sometimes it gives Soulflayer Indestructible and haste, other times its a grindy midrange creature.

Grisly Salvage, Commune with the Gods, & Grapple with the Past - These are your enablers, they help find Soulflayer while also filling the graveyard.

Faithless Looting - This is your best enabler similar to the ones mentioned above except it also helps to smooth out your draws and to pitch cards from hand that we want in the grave such as your big creatures and Lingering Souls.

Unburial Rites - This is a one of that helps our deck attack from a different angel, we are ok with this in either our hand or graveyard.
