Sideboard

Maybeboard

Creature (1)

A slow control deck that aims to win with Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath beats or Day's Undoing + Narset, Parter of Veils combo.

Sideboard guide :

Out : - 2xSylvan Library - 1xUro, Titan of Nature's Wrath - 1xNarset, Parter of Veils - 1xDay's Undoing - 1xSpell Pierce

In : - 2xCarpet of Flowers - 2xEndurance - 1xSupreme Verdict - 1xVeil of Summer

Keeping forces is my philosophy. Delver is now an unfair deck and you want your responses up all the time.

A switch can happened between Spell Pierce and Life from the Loam if the delver version you face has basics in it or if you find the wasteland plan too slow. But remember : after three wastelands, they can no longer use mystic sanctuary which happens from time to time.

Never cut the Ice-Fang Coatl, they are the best cards in the match up with Swords to Plowshares !

Out : - 4xSwords to Plowshares - 3xPrismatic Ending - 1xLife from the Loam

In : - 2xDeafening Silence - 2xFlusterstorm - 1xForce of Negation - 2xMeddling Mage - 1xVeil of Summer

You have to kill your opponent fast while having disruption up at all time and mostly all cost. Turn 1 deafening silence with some counterspells in hand is what you want.

With Meddling Mage, you want to name Infernal Tutor and maybe Lion's Eye Diamond or Burning Wish with your second one.

Out : - 4xSwords to Plowshares - 3xPrismatic Ending - 1xLife from the Loam

In : - 2xDeafening Silence - 2xFlusterstorm - 1xForce of Negation - 2xMeddling Mage - 1xVeil of Summer

Same idea as before but, different names with Meddling Mage. Now, you want to name Burning Wish or Wishclaw Talisman depending on the first turns.

Out : - 4xSwords to Plowshares - 3xPrismatic Ending - 1xLife from the Loam - 1xUro, Titan of Nature's Wrath - 1xDay's Undoing

In : - 2xDeafening Silence - 2xEndurance - 2xFlusterstorm - 1xForce of Negation - 2xMeddling Mage - 1xVeil of Summer

With Meddling Mage, you want to name Doomsday if it hasn't resolved yet. If it has resolved, name Thassa's Oracle if they didn't play anything post DD or card:Emrakul, the aeons thorn if they landed a card:sheldock isle and you don't have Karakas or Wasteland available.

Out : - 1xHullbreacher - 2xDay's Undoing (- 1xUro, Titan of Nature's Wrath)

In : - 1xBack to Basics - 2xEndurance (- 1xVeil of Summer)

The main deck is already busted against this type of strategy. You really want to have Swords to Plowshares up from turn 2 to the infinity or Teferi, Time Raveler + Prismatic Ending.

Endurance post side can clock your opponent, shutdown their Life from the Loam,Elvish Reclaimer or Knight of the Reliquary while giving you a full turn to dig for a Swords to Plowshares or Prismatic Ending by chumping Maritlage

You can also cut one Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath for one Veil of Summer if your against turbo depths !

Out : - 2xSwords to Plowshares - 1xPrismatic Ending - 1xWasteland - 1xDay's Undoing

In : - 2xCarpet of Flowers - 2xEndurance - 1xForce of Negation

This one is tricky. If you are facing jeskai, expect Monastery Mentor so bring in Supreme Verdict.

If it is another Day's Undoing deck, be careful on turn 3 to 5 because this can go instant speed with Hullbreacher endstep + Day's Undoing.

If it is the yorion 4c control, be patient, you have the same deck but more resilient, if you counter their yorion, their deck become instantly shitty compare to this one.

If it is a version with card:field of the deads, keep Wasteland in !

Out : - 1xSpell Pierce - 2xSylvan Library (- 2xDay's Undoing)

In : - 1xBack to Basics - 1xEnergy Flux - 1xSupreme Verdict (- 2xEndurance)

Tricky match-up. Try to get the board clean at all costs.

Bring endurance against 8cast to shutdown their emery for one turn if you need it.

Out : - 2xDay's Undoing - 1xLife from the Loam - 3xPrismatic Ending - 3xTeferi, Time Raveler

In : - 2xDeafening Silence - 2xEndurance - 2xFlusterstorm - 1xForce of Negation - 1xSupreme Verdict - 1xVeil of Summer

One of the best combos in the format. Mull into more counterspells and it should work with the long game.

Out : - 2xDay's Undoing - 3xTeferi, Time Raveler

In : - 2xEndurance - 1xForce of Negation - 1xSupreme Verdict - 1xVeil of Summer

A pet deck that is popular at my LGS, so I had to be prepared.

Life from the Loam to recur Boseiju, Who Endures for their Altar of Dementia is a real plan if you keep the board clean and stable during the first turns.

Out : - 3xPrismatic Ending - 1xDay's Undoing - 1xWasteland - 1xUro, Titan of Nature's Wrath - 1xTeferi, Time Raveler

In : - 2xEndurance - 1xForce of Negation - 2xMeddling Mage - 1xSupreme Verdict - 1xVeil of Summer

Endurance and Supreme Verdict are in for their fair plan which is a real thing to consider.

It is a hard deck to beat because it is attacking you on so many levels and angles and their shitty snakes and birds can block your beatdowns a bit too easily.

Try to stabilize the board while advancing your gameplan and never let a Aluren resolves.
