Magic: the Gathering has thousands, or even tens of thousands, of cards, some of which have been reprinted more often then have others (i.e., some have been reprinted numerous times, while others have never been reprinted), so I would like to make a list of any and all cards that users here would like to see reprinted, in any set and at any time. Obviously, we cannot mention any cards that are on the reserved list, but any other cards are eligible to be mentioned here.

First, I shall mention Book of Rass, Claws of Gix, Martyr's Cause, and Righteous Aura, since none of those cards have ever been reprinted, or at least they have not been reprinted, recently, so I very much would like to see them reprinted in the new border style and with new artwork, and they are also excellent cards for teaching newer players that life and permanents can be used as resources, as well.

Next, it would be great if Anointed Procession could be reprinted, especially considering that WotC has reprinted both Doubling Season and Parallel Lives, recently, meaning that the two green enchantments are much less expensive than is the white one.

I also find it to be very surprising that Oloro, Ageless Ascetic has never been reprinted, outside of a judge promo, which I do not consider to be a proper reprint, given that he is a very popular general in EDH.

Absorb was reprinted, in the most recent visit to Ravnica, but it is still a rare, which I feel is definitely not the rarity that it should have, now; it most certainly should be only an uncommon, and I also would like to see Undermine reprinted as an uncommon, as well.

The filter lands (i.e., Cascade Bluffs, Twilight Mire, and so forth) have been reprinted in numerous Commander sets, but either with the original artwork and flavor text from Shadowmoor and Eventide or with artwork and flavor text in Universes Beyond sets, and they have never been reprinted in a standard set, so I would like to see them reprinted in a standard set, so that they shall have new artwork and flavor text.

Ancient Spider has never been reprinted, so I feel that it definitely deserves to be; with Thunder Spirit being on the reserved list (which it most certainly should not be, in my mind), I believe that WotC should reprint Sky Spirit more frequently, as it is such a useful creature, and, similarly, Tempest Drake has never been reprinted, so it definitely should be. Also, Dragonlair Spider is not terribly expensive, currently but I feel that it deserves a reprint, to keep it affordable.

The utility lands from both Ravnica (i.e., Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion) and Innistrad (i..e, Kessig Wolf Run) are an interesting case, since some of those cards have been reprinted more often than have the others, so I would like to see all of them reprinted, to keep them easily available.

The original ten guildmages (from the first Ravnica block) were reprinted in Ravnica Remastered, so I would like to see the ten guildmages from the Return to Ravnica block (i.e., Vizkopa Guildmage, Zameck Guildmage, and so forth) reprinted, as well.

Coalition Victory was reprinted as a timeshifted card, but I would like to see it reprinted in the new frame style, and, Cromat has never been reprinted, either, so it would be nice to see that card in the new frame style, as well.

Given how frequently WotC has reprinted Command Tower, Reliquary Tower, Thespian's Stage, and Exotic Orchard, I really wish that they would reprint Homeward Path and Reflecting Poolfoil more frequently, as well.

Grixis Charm is the only charm from its cycle that has not yet been reprinted, so I would like to see it reprinted, and, similarly, Dromar, the Banisher and Numot, the Devastator are also the only cards in their cycles that have never been reprinted, either, so I definitely would like to see them be reprinted, at some point, as well.

Given that WotC recently reprinted Mikokoro, Center of the Sea twice, it would be nice to see them reprint Miren, the Moaning Well; I understand that High Market is generally superior to the well, but it still would be nice to have the well reprinted, anyway.

Intervention Pact is the only card from its cycle that was not reprinted in Time Spiral remastered, so I definitely would like to see it reprinted, at some point.

The ten lieges were reprinted in the second Double Masters set, but Deathbringer Liege was the only one that had new artwork, so I would like to see all ten reprinted, with new artwork, at some point, and I also would like to see the ten demigods (i.e., Divinity of Pride, Deus of Calamity, and so forth), as well as the ten auras that are associated with them (i.e., Scourge of the Nobilis, Clout of the Dominus, and so forth) reprinted, as well.

I believe that I have mentioned a fairly significant number of cards that I would like to see reprinted, so I shall now open this conversation to other users, here; what are some cards that you very much would like to see be reprinted?

It's less about power and more about price control. I don't pretend to know all of the messy history, but most of the rare cards from Legends were put on the RL to preserve their value for collectors and speculators, regardless of their actual value and completely independent of their perceived power.

As for Sky Spirit, I don't know. I guess there aren't that many planes that have spirits floating around the sky, or sets that need a 2/2 flying first striker. It also doesn't have much flavor depth. I would expect a functional reprint before an actual reprint.

As much as I dislike the reserved list, I shall acknowledge that some cards deserve to be on it, because of how powerful they are, such as the "power nine" or the original ten dual lands, but I wonder why Thunder Spirit is on the reserved list, since it is not especially powerful, being merely a 2/2 creature with flying and first strike for only 3 mana, so it definitely feels rather unusual, being on the list. If that card was not on the reserved list, it could have been reprinted, and been a staple of white decks, for all these years, so I definitely would like to ask everyone else here for their opinions, on this matter.

What does everyone else say, about this subject? Why is Thunder Spirit on the reserved list, and, as an additional question, why has WotC not reprinted Sky Spirit more frequently, since it is the closest creature to thunder spirit in the game?

Reprints of Augury Adept and Tidal Barracuda would be nice, and I also would like to see Ancient Spider and Tempest Drake reprinted in the new border style, as well. Also, given that Thunder Spirit is on the reserved list (which makes no sense, at all), I wish that WotC would reprint Sky Spirit more frequently, since it is such a nice and elegant creature.

I think I'm not explaining myself well.

My central thought is that + does not equal . Red might not get deathtouch, but green has full access to it. Why should a red/green card not get deathtouch simply because red doesn't get deathtouch?

White doesn't get deathtouch either, but Arvad the Cursed, Spiteful Squad, Wintermoor Commander, and others have deathtouch. This can only be provided by the requirement.

doesn't get first strike. Sky Spirit, Leap of Flame, Deft Duelist, and others all have first strike provided by their other colors.

Ergo, a color can provide one of its abilities to a card, even if another color can't.

can provide first strike to a card, even a card, with Neheb, the Worthy, Stromkirk Captain, and Halana and Alena, Partners.

can provide deathtouch to a card, as shown by Needlethorn Drake, Winged Coatl, and Venomthrope.

So why is unable to provide deathtouch to (and ) cards? Is somehow better at removal than these colors?

I promise I'm not asking these questions rhetorically, or in anger. I genuinely don't fully understand. And as I was writing this response, I realize my position hearkens back to GDS3 and the infamous flying vigilance question. To which I respond that since that question was asked, Warrant / Warden was printed, and still no vigilant flyer.

And I think I've derailed this enough. If anyone wants to help me out, start another thread and I'll respond. With my apologies, let's get this back to the many faces of Gruul in Commander.

So many awesome cards have been revealed! I do not have time to comment on every one, but I shall mention those that most particularly interest me.

I am very glad that WotC is completing the dual land cycle that they began in Midnight Hunt, and not making the players wait for an arbitrarily-long duration to complete it; hopefully, they shall finish the various other dual land cycles that currently are only partially complete, sooner, rather than later. I also am pleased to see additional basic lands with dark and creepy artwork, as it shall now be easier to have a deck filled with such cards.

Rot-tide gargantua is the first zombie kraken in this game, as far as I am aware, so that is very awesome, although I do wonder why it took WotC this long to print such a creature. I also am very happy to see exploit return, and I doubt that very many people imagined that that would be the "faction mechanic" to which Mark Rosewater was referring in his teaser.

I am glad that Anje has returned, but why is there no card of Runo, yet? He is the only family patron who has not yet been printed!

By invitation only is nice, but forced sacrifice has almost always been black, not white, so that should have been the case for that card, as well.

Fell stinger is really good for an uncommon, so I expect it to be very impactful in sealed games at the prerelease.

I am very glad that Sigarda survived her battle with Sorin, but the story is not yet over, so I sincerely hope that she survives the next battle.

Did anyone notice that the vampire in alternate artwork of gluttonous guest is wearing a headpiece that strongly resembles Tamiyo's hairstyle?

With Millicent, restless revenant being printed, I believe that spirits are now a viable tribe for an EDH deck, and I really hope that her deck includes reprints of both Drogskol Captain and Sky Spirit, and possibly Drogskol Reaver, as well.

Strefan will be great for vampire tribal decks, as will be nearly every vampire in this set.

Wedding ring will definitely be a very interesting political card, so I am eager to see it in action.

Olivia herself is very awesome, and I am now eager to see Edgar, as well.

The cleave mechanic is very interesting, so I shall be very interested to see what other cards use it.

I also think that Tempest Drake , Fungal Shambler , Sky Spirit , and Prophetic Bolt would be great to see in this set, as well.
