After fishbowling with the deck about 25 times I've found a couple things. 1. Putting 6 soldiers into play with Elspeth seems awesome. 2. Venser's -2 ability is actually relevant. 3. 4x BOP and 4x AP is probably right. 4. I might need more Blade Splicer. 5. This deck mulls to five like a boss.

I have changed this deck quite a bit since it first started, it started as a blue white deck. I started to add some green to speed up the drop of my creatures and I love it. If by turn 3 I can have 4 mana waiting for me and then drop a Stonehorn Dignitary, that will save me until turn 4, then I can get out a Venser, the Sojourner
, then you know what happens. On thing I love to do is save up extra Stonehorn Dignitary's in my hand while I buff Venser, the Sojourner. Then when I am ready to drop Venser's bomb, I can still make you skip your next combat phase. I also will save Phantasmal Image's for the same reason.

FNM Standard tournament 12-17-11 2-1 Blue Black Control 0-2 Blue Artifact 2-1 Black Red Vampire 1-2 Token Town (I actually lost b/c the last round I could not draw anymore land other than the 3 I started with.) 0-2 Blue Artifact Overall the deck did just as good as I hoped as far as what i had. I forgot to sideboard Ancient Grudge to deal with artifacts. But aginst any other decks, it's beautiful. It's almost like a standard Valakut deck

Got first place at FNM with it's first showing of it there. I like how the deck flows so far, I have a sideboard for it but still working on it a bit, and I feel that is where it really helps it out when going up to certain decks.

My sister went 2-2 at her first FNM!
We added some Gavony Township at the last minute, and they helped a lot. In one game, she ended up swinging for the win with a pumped-up Birds of Paradise which I think is really funny.
And Fog is incredible.

I've updated this deck to be a bit more mature. It was a pretty powerful deck, but it didn't have answers for some of the stuff floating around in the current format.
For starters, Angels are damn expensive: they throw off the mana curve and more often then not get destroyed before being useful. Aegis Angel was nice, but she became an immediate target, followed by whoever I had chosen to make indestructible. I've whittled my angel selection down to just Angelic Overseer since if there are any humans on the board (and there will be) she gets to stick around for a little while.
Gideon Jura was added in both because he is a very useful card (mostly for making a creature with 6/6 or less attack and die - sorry, brah) and because I now have two of them from lucky boosters. High five.
As far as dealing with any big problems, I have enough Oblivion Rings, Arrests, and Nevermores to handle any big bombs and Artifact and Enchantment destruction to handle the rest. Ghost Quarter is in the side to fight off Inkmoth Nexus and Kessig Wolf Runs.
A devoted U/U or U/B control artist may walk all over this deck, but hopefully I can get enough humans past to do the damage I need. This deck used to be a turn 8-10 killer in its infant state, I'm excited to see what I can do now.

I removed two of the pentavi, added one contagion engine (possibly I'll add a second one) and two steel hellkites. Right now they are the finishers in this deck. Pentavus is there for blocking, I'll add treasure magi soon so I will be able to search for this pentavus/hellkite/engine, depeneding on what's needed.

Took this guy to fnm for the first time...and it was pretty rough. As fun as Army of the Damned is, its just too inconsistent. Picked up another Grave Titan and another Bloodline Keeper Flip. They do enough damage as it is. I think this deck can definitely compete, it just needs to be fine tuned. One thing I forgot to consider was Mirran Crusader. Putting in a few cards to better deal with him. Garruk Relentless Flip is a bomb, much stronger in this deck than Garruk, Primal Hunter. Someone suggested using Mayor of Avabruck Flip, but I just don't see how he would be that strong in this deck.

Against a heartless summoning R/B deck I faired well. Controlling the beat stick was paramount. Early slagstroms knocked out the mana producing myr's. Won game one with Gideon, game two started with crap. Game three muliganed to five and we ended with 2 and 0 life. Very close, but with the orginal starting hand in game 3 I wouldve won easily if i knew what the first 2 draws were. The decks control is out of this world. I always find myself with just enough fiend hunters/ bonds of faith/ slagstorms to have the board. Quite happy so far with the deck design. On a side note played the self mull again and a 14 spider spawn turned my gideon avenger into a giant beat stick.

Deck has change from UW Control/Blade to a Delver Blade deck revolving around two creatures Delver of Secrets Flip and Snapcaster Mage.

I've Updade some cards mainly Olivia Voldaren, Bloodlord of Vaasgoth, And Curse of the Pierced Heart. I also Removed the Blasphemous Acts in the main and side board. They didn't fit in the pump deck theme. I' also changed the amounts of some cards. Take a look and See what you think.

Made a sideboard!
Added in Rally the Peasants and a few Clifftop Retreats for flashback. Moved Phyrexian Rebirth to the sideboard for another White Sun's Zenith.
Kinda want another Mentor of the Meek in here, not sure how to fit him though.

The theory with my sideboard is basically make a huge change out between game 1 and game 2 in the match up.
I take out 2x Blightsteel Colossus, 4x Wing Splicer, 4x Shape Anew, 4x Onyx Mage and replace with my sideboard.
