Indirect land destruction
eheitzman, 13 years ago
After incorporating a lot of feedback from mtuchler, I found myself pruning out several powerful Red and Green Sorcery which directly destroy permanents, including Tectonic Rift, Melt Terrain, and Bramblecrush. Now the deck focuses on using the Liquidmetal coating to convert opponents' permanents into artifacts, then dispatching them with artifact destruction. Mimic Vat is now seeing more use with several viable creatures to clone.
I kind of feel like the deck is trying to pursue two strategies which may or may not have good synergy.
I'm considering removing some of the "win more" cards such as: -1x Magnetic Mine -2x Viridian Revel
Adding: Tectonic Rift, Melt Terrain, Bramblecrush, something like Lightning Bolt (but which is still in the Standard format). These cards are cycled back into my hand by Charmbreaker Devils, and keep an aggressive edge that the deck might currently lack.

Ornithopters have been added! Still considering finding room for etched champions, but not sure how reliable metalcraft is yet.

Completely redid deck to be more based around KCI and I am testing new version now. I think it might be a lot more powerful.

Once and awhile, I fail to make changes to the deck here on tappedout, that I've actually made irl. So I finally put in the Inkmoth Nexus' that I've been playing with, as I know some of you have been wondering where they were. :D

Woot More Wins

I've won two games this evening by getting Swiftfoot Boots + Grand Abolisher Combo on the 3rd turn. Making it impossible for them to stop my golem generation machine.
Ready to begin testing in FNM on Dec. 23, 2011

I somewhat majorly edited my deck, instead of a B/U deck its more of a Black deck with a splash of blue for Grimgrin, Corpse-Born and Dissipate, i also ended up removing a few lands and Ghoulraiser in favor of Abattoir Ghoul for some more fighting force, any further criticism or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Lulz this sucked. Why does it exist? I made a real Steel (heh) deck but can't get Opals. So this will forever be my worst Standard deck, with the exception of my first Grixis one which worked around Viashino Skeleton.

WTF Why is this still listed as Standard? I went 4 and 5 at GP PGH with it. But it turned into Chandra's University of PAIN which you should look up.
