surprised to not see Renegade Krasis in here

I don't have an open copy... my other simic deck, What say you now, Mr. Darwin? has both of my copies in it....

though I do have both the old Simic Legendaries Momir Vig, Simic Visionary and Experiment Kraj in here... I just need Prime Speaker Zegana and I will have all four Simic Legendaries, I already am running Vorel of the Hull Clade as my commander as he heeps my commander cost lower than the other choices.

I like Vorel as a Commander too. also Master Biomancer would be good

I like Unstable Mutation for simic theme decks

Wouldn't that cancel out the +1/+1 counters eventually?

The idea is to use it on someone else's thing to kill it (with vorel) -- or keep putting +1/+1 counters to counteract the effect -- its just fun because it is mutant themed and goes along with things like Forced Adaptation and Krasis Incubation

Is this intended to be a budget deck? Either way replace the vanilla creatures for some creatures that have something to do with counters

@Blakkhand So, basically cut out half the deck? I see how some of the suggested replacements would be better, but this is a budget build, from cards I actually have on hand.... I literally have 0 of the ones you suggested.... I like how the deck plays as is... and that's all that matters to me... So I will have to decline.

I understand that, probably shoulda been more clear. I was just suggesting some cards I think would be good improvements and some cards that could be considered for cuts to make room.
