Most tribes will generally have a favourite colour they appear in - elves in green, merfolk in blue, zombies in black, etc. Allies are one of those tribes, however, that are so spread out that it's hard to pick! They aren't all super-efficiently undercosted (like goblins) or huge and ponderous (like dragons) either, so they kind of run the gamut in terms of both colour and mana costs. Which led me to realize: hey, what better home for that than rainbow stairwell?

Tribal strategies have to be rare with such a, er... let us say "unique" deckbuilding format, so it's nice to have something unusual to break out. You have allies of all colours, and thankfully the tribe-specific Ally Encampment and Harabaz Druid serve to help with the ever-important colour-fixing. My favourite touch? General Tazri is a valid choice, being mono-white, but you're also in every colour and so free to fire off that handy activated ability!
