Theros block came out not that long after I started playing Magic, and were some of the first sets I was able to get excited for the release of. I had a lot of fun playing those cards, and I have a bunch from the lower rarities lying around. I decided to put together a cubelet using commons and uncommons from the block, to capture that Theros nostalgia. For those of you unfamiliar with cubelet, it's a format with a 100-card shared library. Instead of playing normal lands, you can play any card in your hand face down as a land that taps for one mana of any colour (and for the purposes of this stack has all basic land types).

This stack hopes to recreate the fun and flavour of low-powered Theros block gameplay while staying on a budget. There is one card in here that's from a different set, and that's Spontaneous Combustion . There are two reasons for this: one, there aren't enough minotaurs in the stack to justify either of the BR multicoloured uncommons in Theros block, and two, the format needed this type of effect.
