Banding and Birds. The original version of my Banding Deck, with Soraya the Falconer as the Commander (Tom said nothing good came from Homelands, I disagree). My original inspiration for this deck was a discussion about banding on an EDH stream (Mtgradio on twitch). Ayesha Tanaka is not the commander because there are no EDH legal blue cards with banding, So Soraya was the choice. The other version of this deck runs Walls instead of Birds and has Bushi Tenderfoot as the Commander. The Spells/Artifacts in this deck are pretty much just EDH staples.

Soraya the Falconer reads:1WW, 2/2 Summon Legend, All Falcons get +1/+1. In addition for 1W Target Falcon gains banding until end of turn.

Soraya the Falconer got an errata, she now reads:1WW, 2/2 Legendary Creature - Human, Bird Creatures get +1/+1. In addition for 1W Target Bird creature gains banding until end of turn. (Any creatures with banding, and up to one without, can attack in a band. Bands are blocked as a group. If any creatures with banding a player controls are blocking or being blocked by a creature, that player divides that creature's combat damage, not its controller, among any of the creatures it's being blocked by or is blocking.)

With the introduction of the type "Creature" the type "Summon" became outdated and was updated along with some of the outdated creature subtypes. All of the "Summon Falcon" creatures in this deck actually read, "Creature - Bird". The "Summon Aesthir" reads, "Creature - Bird". And all other "Summon"s read "Creature - Human" in addition to any other subtype they may possess. Comprehensive rules 108.1
