My question in regards to this deck is why Arcades, the Strategist instead of another bant commander such as Derevi, Empyrial Tactician? Arcades synergizes with defender cards. Of which you have only 1, which is Dragon Throne of Tarkir.

If you want to use Arcades, I recommend more defender cards such as: Tree of Redemption, Ageless Sentinels, Wall of Blossoms, Colossus of Akros, Golden Guardian  Flip, Hornet Nest, Opal-Eye, Konda's Yojimbo, Thing in the Ice  Flip, Sylvan Caryatid, Wall of Reverence, Amaranthine Wall, Assault Formation, Carven Caryatid, Dazzling Ramparts, Gomazoa, Guard Gomazoa, Hover Barrier, Just to name a few.

I also recommend as many cards that prevent your opponents from attacking you as possible: Windborn Muse, Norn's Annex, etc.

As well as cards like Shalai, Voice of Plenty, Empyrial Archangel, Tamiyo, Field Researcher, Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa

Casual play Wall-themed deck. Ageless Sentinels is still a wall, I use it as a blocker and cast Glyph of Destruction. Does the second effect of the glyph just not resolve since the targeted wall is no longer a wall, therefore letting me keep my bird?

i dont get into to many white decks, but i love this one. i would get rid of Ajani, Caller of the Pride and replace it with Elspeth, Knight-Errant and Leonin Sun Standard with a Caged Sun and Windbrisk Raptor with Ageless Sentinels

Alright, time for some suggestions.

First of all, things that probably aren't very good here:

Divine Verdict is an ultra weak card. Like, REALLY weak.

Ephemeral Shields, Gods Willing, Intervention Pact, Safe Passage, Sandblast, Unsummon, and Valorous Stance aren't quite as bad, yet still way too weak for really any deck.

Nyx-Fleece Ram: I run lifegain and don't play this. Not a good card.

Jareth, Leonine Titan is not good for this strategy.

Ageless Sentinels is awful. It's a french vanilla 4/4 for 4.

Academy Elite doesn't seem any good. Way too slow, even for a GAAIV deck.

Witchbane Orb: this card is not awful, but Aegis of the Gods is probably better since nobody in our playgroup runs Curses.

Saltblast: wow that's bad

Ravages of War: Not bad, but also 300 something dollars.

AEther Storm: the pay 4 life effect essentially makes this card completely irrelevant, as somebody will ALWAYS pay the life immediately.

Rout, Acid Rain: decent enough cards, but other wraths are better

Now, of course, I'm not going to just tell you to cut a bunch of things without adding anything, so here's some suggestions:

More Counterspells: Arcane Denial, Overwhelming Denial, Mental Misstep, Cryptic Command, Dissipate, Void Shatter, Faerie Trickery, Render Silent, and Hinder are all viable options. Of course, I'm not saying you should add ALL of these because that would be insane, but these are all worth considering.

More Spot Removal: Path to Exile and Swords to Plowshares are grade A quality. Return to Dust, Cyclonic Rift, Condemn, and Azorius Charm are all decent as well.

Better/More Wraths: End Hostilities and Hallowed Burial are pretty decent.

More Control-y Creatures: Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Isperia, Supreme Judge, Thassa, God of the Sea, Frost Titan, Archangel of Tithes, and Sun Titan are all pretty nice.

Bastion Protector

More Hatebears: by hatebears, I mean cards like Ethersworn Canonist, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Aven Mindcensor, Hokori, Dust Drinker, Linvala, Keeper of Silence, and all the other mean lockdown cards.

Taking out Oblivion Ring for Grasp of Fate

Tutors: Enlightened Tutor and Mystical Tutor, to be more precise

Rhystic Study

Blind Obedience

Aura of Silence

Leyline of Anticipation goes well with Grasp, O-Ring, or Detention Sphere, along with hatebears.

Narset Transcendent, Elspeth, Knight-Errant, Venser, the Sojourner, and Elspeth, Sun's Champion all seem decent as far as planeswalkers go.

Overall, I'd say these are my primary suggestions. If you want to go full stax, there's tons of good decks in that category on the site.
