Description

With new sets, there are lots of nice combinations and synergies to run a Zombie deck. Make undead, bring them back, but most importantly, make your opponent dead as well.

Tactics

Create lots of zombies to overwhelm your opponent by numbers. With Death Baron, they all get buffed and gain deathtouch.

Zombie Generators

• Diregraf Colossus: Create 2/2 zombie tokens by CASTING zombie spells.

• Cryptbreaker: Can create 2/2 zombie tokens.

• Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet: Create free 2/2 zombie tokens by killing enemy creatures.

They Just Keep Coming Back

• Relentless Dead: Unless it gets exiled, it can keep coming back, and bring other zombies back.

• Liliana, the Last Hope: Get creature cards back from the graveyard.

• Liliana, Untouched By Death: Cast creature cards from the graveyard.

Removal

Does what black does best.

Destroy

• Cast Down: Non-legendary instant removal.

• Grasp of Darkness: For those indestructibles.

Exile

• Vraska's Contempt: Great removal for big threats. Instant exile with a little lifegain.

Discard

• Duress [Sideboard]: Get rid of those pesky non-creature cards like planeswalkers and board wipes.

• Plaguecrafter [Sideboard]: Mostly used for its sacrifice creature/planeswalker ability. However if they have nothing, they discard.
