Can't see any obvious gaps in your strategy. Very scary once some of your engines get going. With Oketra on board, and any of a combination of Binding Mummy or Mentor of the Meek.....so much value. Maybe just try a Soul of Theros . Great stats, and great late game punch for all your weenies. +1.

Time to Reflect > Path to Exile : Same cost but less restrictive and more flexible (could use it on a token and ramp if need be)

Trostani's Judgement > Settle the Wreckage : sure can't populate, but hits many more threats and for a lesser cost

Radiant Purge > Lapse of Certainty : Keep them guessing with a surprise counter that basically Time Walks them

Worn Powerstone > Mind Stone : Less ramp, but card draw (something needed in this build)

Strionic Resonator > Anointed Procession : You'll usually be using it for double tokens anyways...

Adaptive Automaton > Odric, Lunarch Marshal : The deck is not true tribal, but is keyword heavy

Metallic Mimic > Duplicant : Same as above regarding tribal, but this guy can remove and get you a dude

Soul of Theros > Emeria Shepherd : honestly, kinda like them both, so preference?

Impassioned Orator > Soul Warden or Auriok Champion : More efficient

That's about all I see on this wave.

xaarvaxus Thanks! Great suggestions.

I have already removed Knight of the Reliquary.

And you're 100% right - Glowrider does not belong here. I'm not sure what I was thinking in keeping it.

As for Ant Queen & Soul of Theros, I am cutting both. I think my original plan that included them is long gone. On that note, I'll also be cutting Fleetfoot Panther. Wolfbriar Elemental is also getting the ax.

I am adding Beast Whisperer and considering Knight of Autumn.

Thanks for all of the suggestions.

No Primal Surge? This deck seems primed for it.

Almost all of your cuts will probably come from creatures and I think you should prioritize ones that don't have an ETB, ie: Ant Queen & Soul of Theros. I'd cut some of your 'bounce your own creature' ETB's, Fleetfoot Panther and Whitemane Lion just aren't exciting creatures and they usually aren't things you'll want to grab off Genesis Wave

Knight of the Reliquary doesn't have a lot of targets to fetch and won't get huge quick as the deck looks like it will be keeping land in play and not a lot will hit the graveyard other than via the Knight's own ability. Maybe cut your worst mana dork?

Glowrider seems a bit out of place here. Probably not bad if you do hit it but its not really a theme/focus of the deck. Gigantomancer is expensive and fragile. Luminarch Ascension also seems a bit misplaced as it feels more of a pillowfort card to me. Wolfbriar Elemental won't do anything early or off Genesis Wave so I'd cut it as well.

Beast Whisperer is important redundancy to go with Soul of the Harvest and Primordial Sage as this will probably be your most consistent form of card draw. Knight of Autumn seems like a good fit in here as well. Sorry to suggest new cards when you're looking to make cuts...

You also have more hubs that you could flag so that more people will come across your deck while searching; 'Selesnya', etc

The problem with Soul of Theros is that while it would buff my creatures, I have to have a bunch of other creatures that didn't have summoning sickness that I could buff and even then I would still have to connect with them (since Soul doesn't give trample).

The point of this line is to be able to go from nothing to game over once Yisan hits 3 counters and I would want something more guaranteed.

What about Soul of Theros

Im also trying to make a BW deck myself. Serra Avatar and Soul of Theros are really cool cards, but can only function in a commander deck since they cost so much to play. Id recommend removing them. Maybe replace them with Yahenni, Undying Partisan which benefits from the deathtouch and kill cards you have. Also, instead of Murder, I would use Mortify, since it does the same thing but also targets enchantments. Tragic Slip might also be helpful since your deck will be killing a lot of things anyways which will trigger its second ability. Youre going to want some one mana cost creatures if youre going to play this in modern. Since you have lots of vampires, I recommend Indulgent Aristocrat. He can pump up your other creatures, and has the added benefit of triggering tragic slips second ability. Lastly, for your mana base, put in a Vault of the Archangel or two. Boom, everything has deathtouch and lifelink.

First of all, I love your description! It's very flavorful.

As for the deck: piles and piles of cheap creatures can work really well in 20-life formats, but I feel like you'll run out of gas in the 40 life formats. Your early-game is strong; but I feel like you need more late-game card advantage to keep the pressure on.

First, again, I'd run more than 32 lands. Seems light.

Second, look into some artifacts that can draw you some cards so you can keep up the aggression. Slate of Ancestry would work really well with your huge collection of soldiers. Mind's Eye is outstanding in multiplayer. Staff of Nin does card-advantage and some light removal, but 6 is a lot of mana. Howling Mine is cheap, but helps your opponents too, so you have to be careful.

Lastly, I'd see if you can get a few more creatures that buff the team. The original Boros lieutenant is pretty bonkers: Agrus Kos, Wojek Veteran. The red/white god is pretty nuts as well: Iroas, God of Victory. Soul of Theros is gross if you've got some mana to pour into it.

p.s., if you like the "Gustcloak" effect, check out Reconnaissance. It's was a balanced card when they printed it in the 90's, but the rules for combat have changed since then, and the card has not. Now it's super busted if you know how to abuse it.
