I don't think you understand the deck. This isn't a generic mutate value deck, it's all-in on the combo of Vadrok and Open the Omenpaths . There's no room for cards that don't help that combo like Zagoth Mamba , Glimmerbell , or the off-color Double Major . The idea is to use creatures to mutate onto Vadrok, who then lets you recast Omenpaths, which gives you four mana to cast another mutate creature. Dreamtail Heron and Cloudpiercer let you keep drawing mutate creatures to fuel the combo. All this is explained in the deck description.

Shredded Sails and Frantic Inventory don't mutate. They're also not creatures and so can't be cast off of Open the Omenpaths .

"Or better/stronger yet is focusing on two colors with adding in just a little bit of a third color to compliment your main colors." Well, I have two main colors and just a little bit of two more. And as I said in the deck description, colors are rarely a concern as you'll almost always be casting Vadrok and Insatiable Hemophage , the only white and black cards in the deck, off of Open the Omenpaths which does a ton of mana fixing.

Three combos you might want to consider:

First, Insatiable Hemophage + Zagoth Mamba ;

Second, Glimmerbell + Sea-Dasher Octopus ;

Third, Vadrok, Apex of Thunder (or any mutate creature) with Double Major ;

The creatures Cloudpiercer + Dreamtail Heron seem a bit pricy and slow especially with so many Lands that come into play tapped it when spells like Shredded Sails and Frantic Inventory are more efficient.

Lastly, the your deck being four colors seems to step on it's own feet while it's trying to run. What I've found best that works for me "personally" is going strong on three colors that compliment and support each other. Or better/stronger yet is focusing on two colors with adding in just a little bit of a third color to compliment your main colors.

Exceptions to this are when you cards that help and support five colors like Omnath, Locus of Creation or Jegantha, the Wellspring . Or you just sliver in two colors that support your two main colors.

For instance playing Brokkos, Apex of Forever + Zagoth Triome with Indatha Triome + Nethroi, Apex of Death in the same deck. Two core colors in B/G with a slive of W and U.

Hmmmm... this list is already pretty solid. But may I ask what you generally use Dark Ritual for? That could be one to cut. Additionally, Phyrexian Arena I think could go as that card is actually quite underwhelming in Commander (it's very overrated). The 3 CMC isn't worth it to me either. So I think those are 2 card to potentially cut and just add in 2 tutors in their place.

Also, I think there are better things to run than Shredded Sails . I will keep looking through your list and gather some more insight into all this. Cheers!

so, I'm not the biggest fan of standard but ill try and help. You may want to put this under the "needs help" tab to get input from other players. Cards I'd consider would be Heartless Act, Extinction Event, Shredded Sails, Shatterskull Smashing  Flip, Spikefield Hazard  Flip, Bloodchief's Thirst, Phoenix of Ash and Feed the Swarm

I wish I could be of more help, but unfortunately I very rarely play G/R and almost never play Standard format. I haven’t even looked at all the Core 21 set cards yet.

As a general rule of thumb, you’re lacking in counter- and removal- type spells. Red/Green isn’t going to have a lot open for true counter spells, particularly in a format as constricting and with a card pool as limited as standard.

But removal is another story. Red has a plethora of faux removal spells in the form of burn, and it has true removal for artifacts. Green has some excellent removal too. You’re going to want to look at cards like Plummet, Return to Nature or Shredded Sails or Fling. Electrodominance might be cost effective spot removal in your particular build due to the nice ramp from your elf folk.

I would probably sideboard the other two Shredded Sails, but also put in some Raking Claws, for those matchups when Shredded Sails will have no targets, which you should be able to figure out by game 2, if not 3.

Light up the Stage and Robber of the Rich are good card advantage, but they don't fuel your grave for phoenix antics later.

Thrill of Possibility and Cathartic Reunion fuel the hand and grave, and just got reprinted in Theros and Ikoria respectively.

Footfall Crater can get cycled into phoenix gas, or essentially give you the option to pay a mana to speed up creatures (damage) in the mid-game. Go for Blood can also remove a problematic blocker before combat damage, and combos with Torbran and Infuriate.

How about Everquill Phoenix?

Shredded Sails for sideboard.

Crazy Idea Footnote: If you add the cycling cards, you could also add a couple Unpredictable Cyclone. As the name states, it is unpredictable, but gives you relevant card advantage in the late game. Because it's not legendary, you can even have multiple out, and benefit from the effect multiple times: e.g. Cycle Footfall Crater with Unpredictable Cyclone on the board, you'll either get to cast another Footfall Crater or Unpredictable Cyclone for free (assuming those are still the only enchantments in your deck)... Now you have two of them, and the dual freecasting begins. Oh, what's more, you also threw some more phoenix fuel in the grave in the process. Now that's a spicy meatball.
