Removed Open the Omenpaths, Betrothed of Fire, Wrenn's Resolve and Mutagenic Growth.

Added Mob Justice and Snap.

Moved Weather the Storm to mainboard and balanced some card numbers.

InnocentAu You need to have one of the draw effects in play or a second Vadrok, Apex of Thunder in your mutate pile which then allows you to cast See the Truth from the graveyard, this combo is non-deterministic and can "fizzle" but you should draw into plenty of mutate cards as each one can be paid for with mana from a single Open the Omenpaths

I don't think you understand the deck. This isn't a generic mutate value deck, it's all-in on the combo of Vadrok and Open the Omenpaths . There's no room for cards that don't help that combo like Zagoth Mamba , Glimmerbell , or the off-color Double Major . The idea is to use creatures to mutate onto Vadrok, who then lets you recast Omenpaths, which gives you four mana to cast another mutate creature. Dreamtail Heron and Cloudpiercer let you keep drawing mutate creatures to fuel the combo. All this is explained in the deck description.

Shredded Sails and Frantic Inventory don't mutate. They're also not creatures and so can't be cast off of Open the Omenpaths .

"Or better/stronger yet is focusing on two colors with adding in just a little bit of a third color to compliment your main colors." Well, I have two main colors and just a little bit of two more. And as I said in the deck description, colors are rarely a concern as you'll almost always be casting Vadrok and Insatiable Hemophage , the only white and black cards in the deck, off of Open the Omenpaths which does a ton of mana fixing.

Thanks! Having some counterspells would probably be a good idea, but ya it would be kind of a buzzkill to hit one with Jadzi haha. I was thinking about Thassa's Intervention though it probably wouldn't be very effective in terms of protecting Jadzi, more just as a general counterspell for control while also being able to dig for key cards.

Btw I got wrecked by a Vadrock deck the other day. I knew what was happening the moment he played Open the Omenpaths thanks to seeing your deck, tho it didn't do me a damn bit of good since I was tapped out XD

I should also say that Open the Omenpaths is good when you need to fix your mana for example to mutate valdrok that costs 2 red or for mutating Cubwarden that costs 2 white

Thanks razelfark for your suggestions! Glad you are testing the deck! Open the Omenpaths is part of a combo since you can cast it from the graveyard with Valdrok, so mutate until you have no more mutates in your hand (get a lot of mana with omenpath) and then use a blink to get all the mutates to your hand and start again.

The truth is, that its the first card that I always change with sideboard though It has infinite combos with it, I need to test it a little bit more, but proably I would keep in the deck at least 1.

Interesting deck you have here. The only card I am not sure on how great it is would be the Open the Omenpaths as I have not really used that card. The reason I am not sure what to think about it is that it doesn't really target you cards to help you trigger your effects, but I can see the useful ness of the mana ramp. If I were to cut the card, would probably just increase the number of some of your existing spells to make them more consistent draws.

Hope the deck continues to serve you well.

I think it'd be good to have something with scry instead of Frantic Inventory . I like what you're doing with the deck, but the worst thing that can happen to a deck like this is to just draw a land for the turn. Basically a dead turn. Scry that away from the top with something like Omen of the Sea . Also gives you further scry to do something with your turn if you still draw a land. I think setting up your next turn for success is more important than drawing extra cards you'll likely need to discard anyway because you've already spent some good mana.

You might also consider Open the Omenpaths if you find you're casting creatures a lot. It's an extra spell and gives you one extra mana to combo with.
