A lot of the cards rotated so I switched it up a little bit and now its just a casual deck to piss off my friends with.

Replaced Borbi ( Borborygmos Enraged ) with Niv ( Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius ) and Mizzium Mortars with Scavenging Ooze

Realised that Mortars was never being Overloaded as by the time I have 6 mana including 3 red sources I'm dead or Possibility Storm is on-board and thus renders Overload useless, so Scavenging Ooze has been added both as a cheap card to Storm off of and as an answer to both aggro and reanimator (should reanimator prove to be a thing).

Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius was added largely for experimentation as I often find myself top-decking later into the game which is when this deck is meant to really shine. However, I do enjoy Borbi's discard-a-land removal so Niv's stay may be a short one.

Aside from that, I've been looking at Omenspeaker as another potential answer to aggressive decks as well as sorcery-speed card draw such as Divination and Urban Evolution.

Played in my first FNM (3-1) with an autoloss for showing up late :P 1-2 vs boros battalion build. learned the hard way that five land, a guttersnipe and a turn/burn could go so wrong?? Overload Teleportal for the win, then he drew an aweful lot of burn, kept my pyromancers and guttersnipes off the board...bad news. 2-0 vs WG aggro heroic....not very close, both games drew at least a pyromancer and a few burns. topcarded purhuros on T2 in the first and they ended it quick. Much the same in second game with a Guttersnipe and burns. 2-0 Green midrange? Thassa got out T3 and I somehow kept his creatures at bay before I finally caught a pyromancer. Scrying has been key (Magma Jets, Dissolve, Thassa). Second game I drew a pyromancer and some burns GG. 2-0 UB Mill.....not very close, he didn't have anything to stop me from casting everything in my hand...then didn't remove anything....the one game he traumatized me with two spellheart chimeras in my hand. +1 Mizzium Mortars -1 Magma Jet The third damage gets fleecemane lions/kalonian tuskars off the board (so I kept 4 Lightning Strike) Seems to be working out. 2-3 land with a pyromancer and at least one burn spell is good news. Need a better mid-late game wipe strategy so I added the mizzium mortars and considering another mortars or cyclonic rift.

After play testing against mono red aggro which I had 3-1'd I found the only thing I needed was another azorius charm. I also found sylvan caryatid was just better than hatecreeper vine, which I did like however because it thinned and shuffled your deck for better draws. After play testing against Gruul midrange I found that 4 voice of resurgences was just unnecessary and 3 would do and I could add an azorius charm. Then I plagued grixis control and I realized simic charm is just amazing against control. I can end the game faster with +3/+3 I can make it so none of their removal is effective and I can bounce a blocker for lethal damage. So all in all I think I'm ready for FNM and I'll let you know how I did. I'm also considering fleecemane lion due to the fact he can survive my verdict and is hard to remove from the board.

Played at FNM and a local tourney for provincials.

FNM didnt do all that well, went 1-3

The provincials only went 2-3-1

Felt like the deck was a little too one dimensional, relying too heavily on the Kalonian Hydra which is a little too vulnerable to removal. When i got on (or two) out for more than one attacking turn it was usually GG, but that didnt happen all that often. Although for the Provincial tourney my friends convinced me to change the deck a little, taking out the 3 Dreg Mangler for three Elvish Mystic, taking out the three Ogre Battledriver for two Lifebane Zombie and an extra Stormbreath Dragon. The only change that really felt decent was the extra Stormbreath Dragon.

Not too sure how to alter the deck to make it more playable, felt like it needed some more removal, maybe a couple Putrefy and sideboard the Golgari Charm or something. I also think a couple of Ruric Thar, the Unbowed might have helped vs the plethora of control, which i seemed to have some trouble with.

It seemed to play ok vs RDW. Didnt have enough instant speed removal to deal with decks that had Obzedat, Ghost Council or AEtherling

That is about all for now.

Again, would appreciate some more suggestions.

Time to jump into standard with a growl, replaced all the old Innistrad stuff for Theros enchantments. The gods have shined down on me and with them came Fleecemane Lion and Heliod, God of the Sun!!!! Happy Trolling!!!! Can't wait gotta play to win!!!!

First bit of play testing done and I came up with this revision. After watching someone play a very identical deck at FNM I decided to add in the Spellheart Chimera and Young Pyromancer to fill out some of the gaps that were in my deck, like not getting many creatures/strong creatures out early. I also replaced Lightning Strike with Anger of the Gods, which i can combo with Curse of the Swine to potentially clear my opponents board. Thassa, God of the Sea for a free scry every turn plus a cheap 5/5 and another Stormbreath Dragon because eff yeah Stormbreath Dragon.

Dropped the last Shadowborn Demon because it's an awkward 1 of, and my Scavenging Ooze and Deathrite Shaman make it rare to see him function properly.

Don't even try to tell me I shouldn't be using Animar as my Commander, or I should stuff my deck with staples. I refuse to run a cookie-cutter deck as i am not some net-decking competitive tool. Also don't give me 30 suggestion tags, seriously, why would you do that? The last guy that did really pissed me off, I had to delete each one.

After a lot of playtesting, I have decided that Sylvan Caryatid will replace 2 Farseek and 2 Solemn Simulacrum, which have both been moved to the sideboard.

I discovered a quite interesting combo. Heroes' Reunion + Voracious Wurm can make a 9/9 with only 4 mana if you are luck enough. So i'm giving it a try, and maybe i will add some other Wurm to make the combo more consistent

Some pretty huge changes here, I added blue and slowed the deck down a bit because I wanted this deck to be a little bit different.

Added: Azorius Charm. Detention Sphere, Anger of the Gods, Master of Wavesfoil, Sphinx's Revelation

Removed: Chandra's Phoenix, Lightning Strike, Chained to the Rocks, Aurelia, the Warleader
