I am very new to Magic. This is my first deck. Any comments are appreciated.

A white soldier deck that gains momentum and abilities like a giant snow ball that can't be stopped once it starts rolling.

OFFENSE STRATEGY

+1/+1 Momentum Building
Paragon of New Dawns and Hall of Triumph give all creatures +1/+1. All creatures with a +1 Counter will get the following abilities from other soldiers:- Abzan Battle Priest = Lifelink- Abzan Falconer = Flying- Ainok Bond-Kin = First Strike

Lifegain + Ajani's Pridemate
While Ajani's Pridemate will get additional +1/+1 counters for each life gain instance from Soulmender, Staff of the Sun Magus , & Nyx-Fleece Ram plus dual lands that offer 1 life when entering the battlefield, and Lifelink from each creature when Abzan Battle Priest is activated.

DEFENSE STRATEGY

Nyx-Fleece Ram is an early defender with 0/5.Raise the Alarm and Elspeth, Sun's Champion can add 1/1 Token Creatures to suck the early damage.If Heliod, God of the Sun comes into play all creatures will get Vigilance.Aegis of the Gods offers Hexproof if it comes into play. And when all else fails there is always Mass Calcify .

My struggle is reducing the deck size. It is currently at 76. Any suggestions of whittling it down? Thanks for reading and commenting. 8-D

I have tried taking into account input from GenGenome, 8bitJesus, & Eraser, and made some much needed changes. Thir advice has been extremely helpful. Some of the recommendations do not appear because they are cards that will soon not be available in standard, or they will be incorporated into a future deck.
