Naya Company (aka Big Zoo). I just came back to the game after stopping in mid 2016 and felt like updating one of my favorite lists. Work in progress, esp considering I don't own all the cards yet as I sold my collection when I stopped playing 2 years ago. ((And, yes, it's Goyf-less. For now. Anyway...))

Not quite sure how Bloodbraid Elf compares to Collected Company in this particular type of deck. CoCo being an instant is really helpful, esp vs more controlling opponents or to, say, make your Humans opponent think twice before attacking into your 4 open mana. On the other hand, Bloodbraid just seems like it could be faster. But I'm not sure all out speed is what we're after (if that's what we wanted, we'd play Little Zoo or Nacatl Burn), and I don't like the idea of cascading into a mana dork (esp if we're already at 4 mana) or a wasted removal spell. I'd think about playing 3/4 of both, but you can't CoCo into BB since she's a 4 drop. So for now I'm thinking 3 Collected Company and 1 "fun-of" Bloodbraid Elf.

There are also some admittedly odd choices here. Runic Armasaur? In Modern?? Well...maybe! 2/5 is a decent size, esp if it gets exalted, and if it's not removed your opponent's fetchlands are a real liability, as are many other things they may want to do. Tireless Tracker seems to already be appearing in Modern decks, though, and with 12 fetch lands and 4 Knight of the Reliquary, this could also provide some more card advantage in a type of deck that usually lacks this (not to mention a big, fat threat in the Tracker itself). It's possible 2 Trackers > 1 Dino 1 Tracker, though. The new Thalia, Heretic Cathar I decided to include after seeing it completely hose some decks while watching VODS of people playing it in a similar Zoo build. Once I can actually start testing the completed deck I'm sure I'll figure out if these 1-of's are a wise choice or, more likely, if I should focus more on specific cards.
