This is a familiar Melira, Sylvok Outcast combo shell in Modern, tweaked with Renegade Rallier. This is a work in progress, any suggestions are appreciated!

The general gameplan - assemble one of two combos that use Viscera Seer: either Melira, Sylvok Outcast/Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit plus Kitchen Finks, or Renegade Rallier plus Saffi Eriksdotter. Both combos allow you to generate infinite scry/die/ETB triggers, which you can use to scry until you hit Blood Artist and win the next turn.

This combo tries to be a bit faster and more resilient to removal than the normal Melira shells by using Rallier's ability to ramp with fetchlands or to bring back a combo piece from the yard. It can also win with Seer, Rallier and Saffi if you don't already have a Melira/Anafenza or Finks.

Some deckbuilding choices work well with the inclusion of Renegade Rallier:

1. Tidehollow Sculler can be sacrificed to Viscera Seer in response to its ETB trigger, allowing you to permanently exile a nonland card from the opponent's hand, and you can later recur it using Rallier.
2. Almost every card in the sideboard and almost every creature in the maindeck should have a CMC of 2 or less if possible. Orzhov Pontiff is a notable exception, as its effect is not easily replaceable and it also exiles itself upon dying.

Sideboard:

• Burrenton Forge-Tender is protection against Anger of the Gods, a real backbreaker vs. this deck. Can be recurred with Rallier.
• Kataki, War's Wage is for Affinity decks. Can be recurred with Rallier.
• Qasali Pridemage is versatily enchantment and artifact removal, great against Rest in Peace, Grafdigger's Cage, Leyline of the Void, and even Eidolon of the Great Revel. Can be recurred with Rallier.
• Scavenging Ooze is graveyard hate and a bit more lifegain. Can be recurred with Rallier.
• Spellskite is great vs. many removal spells and also works very well against Burn, Infect, and even against Scapeshift sometimes. Can be recurred with Rallier.
• Voice of Resurgence is a great value creature, can be good vs. midrange decks like Jund. Probably replaceable. Can be recurred with Rallier.
• Tidehollow Sculler is one of the few ways of interacting with combo decks. Can be recurred with Rallier.
• Abrupt Decay and Path to Exile work as additional removal for different cards in different matchups.
• Leyline of Sanctity is good vs. some combo decks, some burn decks, and some midrange decks.
• Leyline of the Void is another piece of graveyard hate - notably, it does not affect our own graveyard, which our entire deck relies on.
