Legendary Creature — Dragon
Flying, trample, haste
If Darigaaz Reincarnated would die, instead exile it with three egg counters on it.

Darigaaz Reincarnated Discussion

Quite a few changes in the past few months. It is hard to say when these changes were made, but this is where the deck stands now. What do you think?

I only very rarely play it tbh, since my EDH group all moved away :-(
A bunch of folks were back in town over the holidays last year though; we were able to get together, and Rith was able to do some serious rampaging! I'm hoping she'll get some playmat time this year too.
I kinda hate the BBD Doubling Season art (IMO, it looks like art from a Minecraft TCG rather than from Magic), so I wasn't too bummed to not pull one. If I ever make the upgrade, it'll be with the RAV art for sure. :-)
I still really love this deck, but it'd be fun to brew with an entirely new Rith card. We got Darigaaz Reincarnated and Primevals' Glorious Rebirth, so maybe Rith'll show up the next time we're on Dominaria ...

lmao I first read "Sarkhan's been nurturing the Dragons in his den. They are ready for a fight." as "Sarkhan has been nutting the Dragons in his den..." sorry. maybe you could add Sarkhan's Unsealing and another Dragon's Hoard and Darigaaz Reincarnated, this could be a little janky but idk. It seems you are able to cast Darigaaz Reincarnated pretty easy because of Sarkhan and the Hoard

+1 from me! If you were going for a gimmick deck then dinosaurs is a pretty awesome option! I wanted to build pirates; but honestly dinosaurs got so much more support wowww
Honestly, if your ultimate gameplan is to "cast commander, beat face" then many of the other dinosaurs are just going to slow you down. Gishath, Sun's Avatar is arguably better for a dedicated dino deck imo
I feel like the dream play is Zacama, Primal Calamity immediately into Akroma's Memorial/Xenagos, God of Revels and swing... or just wiping everyone of problematic enchantments/artifacts/creatures lmao
It might be smart to run 30+ creatures because how often are you really casting a 9CMC commander?! Depends on where you take the deck. Do you want beaters or rampers? Wood Elves, Solemn Simulacrum, Kor Cartographer, Oracle of Mul Daya, etc etc. I assume you don't want it to feel exactly like Darigaaz Reincarnated/Maelstrom Wanderer which is why I suggested Otepec Huntmaster&friends. Just Brainstorming
You have a bunch of mana doublers which is awesome, including the updated Regal Behemoth that's a mf dinosaur! Plus sorcery ramp. There's a decent spot removal package and some of the auto include boardwipes. A couple dinos have removal tacked on as well. Spellbreaker Behemoth is sweet. I love Samut and the haste enablers. Fervor is meh. You have a lot of really cool stuff here tho. You even snuck in Craterhoof & Avenger. There's a light token theme here which doesn't fit. Idk.
If you're trying to thin some of the fat it would be the rando 5-8 cmc spells. Crested Herdcaller, Thundering Spineback, Raging Swordtooth, Godsire, ... It's so hard. Probably lose two enchantments and two instants/sorceries and you'll only have to cut seven creatures XD
The crossroads for me is the Gishath dino aggro or Zacama goodstuff combo. It'll be cool to ultimately see what your mind imagines!

Maybe even Dragon's Hoard and focus on only dragons?

Legendary Creature - Dragon
((First things first we need some better art because the current one is super dissapointing))
Flying, trample, haste
If ~ would leave the battlefield, instead you may exile it with three time counters on it.
At the beginning of each upkeep, if ~ is exiled with a time counter on it, remove a time counter from it. Then, if ~ has no time counters on it, return it to the battlefield.
Time counters to synergize with suspend/vanishing, leave the battlefield to stick through Vraska's Contempt, each upkeep to start hedging towards Commander playability, and dropping a point of toughness to start balancing this.
More of the same.

Hey, like the card art of Primevals' Glorious Rebirth shows, I would build a deck around Dragons for two main reasons Lathliss, Dragon Queen (budget legendary) and Dragon's Hoard (budget ramp/draw). Lathliss ability to make a 5/5 Dragon token whenever another nontoken Dragon ETB (enters the battlefield) seems very good with a Rebirth reanimation strategy. Hoard is amazing ramp for Dragons and it's also card advantage when Dragons ETB. Dragons are legendary and there's a quite a few that are budget: Lathliss, Verix Bladewing, Darigaaz Reincarnated, Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire and Palladia-Mors, the Ruiner.
A strategy with Rebirth you'll want enablers (cards that can put other cards (Dragons) into the graveyard) This is fuel so you have cards to reanimate when you cast Rebirth. Can't cast Rebirth if you don't have actual legendaries in your graveyard as well as a legendary creature in your control. Tormenting Voice and Dismissive Pyromancer are options in red. These cards let you draw into your deck while at the same time putting potential Dragons or other legendaries in your graveyard.
Spit Flame is a creature removal spell that has a bonus, you can return it to your hand for one mana after a Dragon ETB. You can discard Spit with an enabler or play Split in the early game to kill a creature and then get it back from your graveyard to your hand later on when you start playing Dragons.
With Dragons and Rebirth you'll want ramp because Rebirth costs seven mana and most of the legendary Dragons also have high mana costs. Hoard is great, but you'll want more than Hoard. Gift of Paradise is budget, Sarkhan, Fireblood is not, but is the better option with Dragons and Rebirth because he's a legendary and an enabler. Paradise is ramp and can gain you life to help to stay alive until you have Dragons. It can also just like Hoard make white mana. Most of the legendary Dragons I suggested are green. No matter what you'll need green mana in the manabase, good to play Paradise.
Put together a deck using these suggestions. Let me know how it goes and when you have a start I'll help you further if you would like.

Darigaaz Reincarnated and Unclaimed Territory seem like cards that I want to be using, especially the Dragon. A returning threat seems real good. The Goblins, I'm not so sure, they tend to mix, match and create explosive amounts of mana actually (since there are 8). Might toy around with the Trove, Pillage has been very disappointing in past testing (see previous iterations of the deck ;) )
Thanks for the suggestions! I'll be testing with 'em.
