My second oathbreaker deck, aside form Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge the rest of the cards in this deck are < $5.00 each.

Considering that once you have Tezzeret, Master of the Bridge out, your main priority is protecting him so that you can just burn everyone down with his +2 ability, it makes sense for his signature spell to be our primary source of protection, with Assert Authority we always have a counterspell at our disposal, and because of the affinity it will almost always never cost more than {B}{B} to cast, even after tax.

For less competitive games you can switch out the Assert Authority with Whispering Madness which I think is a really fun card, it both fills up your hand so you can crap out all your creatures and disrupts your opponents plans.
