Wanted to share an affordable modern deck that can wreck some pretty powerful decks out there. The core of the deck isn't mine as it's a build around that's been here a while but approach it in very different ways. Here for example i've tried to lean it towards being able to handle, burn, aggro and mid range decks better where as others may proffer to push control. A friend used to play a deck pretty similar to this and it was horrible to play against. Even more so as none of us were prepared for it, i think that's where this type of 'rogue' deck can shine.

As for how the deck works it's aim is to use Restore Balance to nerf our opponents deck as we'll have no lands or creature's in play it becomes a one sided Armageddon and wrath. Oh and they'll have to discard cards just to make that bit more absurd. Suspending it early is fine however we get around it pretty early by using cascade cards. With the border posts constantly bouncing our basic lands to hand and creature's being suspended, it's pretty constant to get full value off the balance. We can also respond to restore balance by sacrificing creature's, artifacts or any land we happen to have to a suspended Greater Gargadon to bring it's suspend cost down, and maximise the value of the balance. Next turn we have a huge Greater Gargadon with haste bearing down on our opponent after they just had all they're creatures blown up and no land to respond.

Sideboard:

Firespout - bring in against aggro or any deck putting you under too much pressure

Beast Within - versatile spot removal is pretty handy although not mandatory so one slot you could tinker with

Lingering Souls - was in the mainboard early on in the build but can be very useful for multiple matchups

Wear / Tear board in against white to kill Stony Silence and be sure to fetch a basic plains so we can cast it with stony in play.

Leyline of Sanctity bring in against burn and any black deck stripping us of our mana rocks via Inquisition of Kozilek and Thoughtseize etc.

Lastly Ricochet Trap against blue is very good, virtually unheard of blue players never expect it and fear it the rest of the game after you nerf their attempted Remand of balance, putting the trap back in your hand.
