Hi there! As a former Birthing Pod player, I just can't shake the drive to tutor up silver-bullet creatures in Modern, where they can make or break so many match-ups. I've been iterating on the Kiki-Jiki Chord/Eldritch Evolution deck concept for a while, and this the list I'm testing currently.

One of the features of the deck is playing a dork first turn, and having the potential to turn-2 Evolution into a wide variety of silver bullets. Eidolon of Rhetoric for Storm, Magus of the Moon for Tron, Spellskite for Infect, Kataki, War's Wage for Affinity, etc, etc. The deck can otherwise grind fairly well, and has synergy with Restoration Angel and Reveillark. Mid-Late game, the deck can infinitely combo with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Restoration Angel . A common sequence is to Chord of Calling for Eternal Witness, rebuy chord, chord for Resto, flicker witness and rebuy chord, then chord for Kiki and win on the spot.
