OK, some changes made. A main deck Authority of the Consuls has grown on me - cut the main deck Threads of Disloyalty to make room for it.

Also pulled one of the Rest in Peace to the main deck, good thinking Silverdrake! Also cut the oppressive rays in favor of a second d sphere, and cut Athreos for the 4th Serum Visions . Made room in the sideboard for Counterbalance as well to test it out.

Not sure how good the Phyrexian Unlife will be in this deck, I might want Runed Halo in that slot instead.

OK so I'd not been active on TO for a little while and after clearing up a bunch of notifications I popped over to my list of decks to find.... this nonsense:

I'd titled the list: "Lost".

Now. I'm pretty sure I've only stuck a 5c commander into the list because I had to put something, however, I now have no memory or idea what I was thinking of or where this was going - any thoughts on what my connection was!!??

While I can't see any definitive win-con, I do see quite a lot of creatures. I've said this once, and I'll probably say it a million times more. Collected Company ! In almost any green deck that utilizes creatures, Collected Company can be a absolute monster. I'm thinkin -1 Threads of Disloyalty and -2 Mana Tithe to make 3x Collected Company .

It may not be an illusion, but a good thematic card to add to this deck would be Ensoul Artifact. You could put it on your Metallic Mimic, your Aether Vial or you could add Darksteel Citadel to put a cheap high end beater in your deck. It would be a good way to recover after a boardwipe.

Also a strong sideboard card you might want to consider is Threads of Disloyalty which is pretty powerful against any deck that runs Death's Shadow or Tarmogoyf.

Threads of Disloyalty and Mind Control are the next ones on the list. Not the best, but Shackles was mentionned already so... :)

5D_Phantom In essence, this is the edh version of Grixis Shadow. While there are no counterspells or Turbo Xerox theorem in play, it IS Grixis and it IS better when you are at lower life totals. That established, play Grixis Shadow, throw some copies of Threads of Disloyalty in there, and see where it takes you!

Yeah I thought about it too

sadly I am not able to play Modern right now :(As soon as I am able to again I will change my sideboard to fit the meta Threads of Disloyalty are still there from the pre Death Shadow / Fatal Push meta to deal with goyfs or Bob's

But thank you very much for your help I will add Entrancing Melody on my watch list
