My input for your first tier is One with Nothing. Historically, many players tried to find a use for this card but nothing really significant came out of it.

For your worst of the worst I nominate Wood Elemental and Sorrow's Path. Seriously, I think even the most casual of players wouldn't dare touch these cards.

One with Nothing I see it in your maybe board. If you want to run it for flavor I respect that but what immediately comes to mind in a mono colored graveyard strategy is... Null Brooch. Sure it's more than 1 mana but it's a repeatable Negate in mono black.

Dark Deal is a black Windfall. Another Ill-Gotten Gains type effect.

I built a deck using ChatGPT as well, but I asked it to build around One with Nothing, so I thought that was the reason it didn't seem to grasp that an EDH decks needs exactly 100 cards. When i was using it, I continually asked it to add or remove cards, and after a while, we managed to reach exactly 100 (I did have to filter through a lot of duplicate cards, though).

I'm guessing that you meant to say a 2 card combo, where one of them is an actual existing card that sells for 50 cents? Also, do you specifically mean infinite combo? I'm guessing that you do, but your challenge is quite vague. So I'm going with that.

To give you more specific detailing around the rules you mentioned, it’s only comparing the timing when you cast something like Bone Shards versus Smallpox. With Bone Shards you discard an extra card as part of the spells cost, so you get to draw before it resolves. With Smallpox you are discarding during resolution, so you draw after all its effects have happened.

None of this really impacts how you want to use Rielle, the Everwise unfortunately. Her ability only triggers once per turn, and Lightning Storms discard effect is always one-lamd-at-a-time, so she’ll always only ever see the first discard you do, and ignore the rest - meaning you only ever get one card. To get more cards drawn, you need a single effect that makes you discard multiple cards in one go, like One with Nothing.

Thanks Chasmolinker, I’ll add those cards to the maybeboard—except for One with Nothing. I don’t think it would be of much use here, vine notwithstanding lol
