cool deck!
It's always much more difficult to provide recommendations for pauper EDH because I usually don't pay attention to the rarity of cards, but I will do my best.
Also I was wondering, you are running some uncommons like the signets, gray merchant. are these because these cards have been printed at common in a different set or your playgroup is ok with some uncommons?
here are some thoughts:
Lab Rats
Syphon Mind i would run Bubbling Muck over dark ritual because it is great late game.
Armillary Sphere
Grotesque Mutation will guarantee that your commander will trigger if you cast it on an unblocked attacker.
Unburial Rites is a great card but not sure if you can play it bc it is uncommon.
Leaden Myr for more ramp
Expunge is pretty good removal.
Eternal Thirst is good for triggering your commander.
Mark of the Vampire is good too.
hope these ideas are helpful and let me know if you liked them, i can see if i can come up with some more ideas later

The cycling sub-theme seems like a lot more investments than payoffs.

Gempalm Polluter feels like a nice zombie-themed include. Same for Lurching Rotbeast and Moaning Wall. Undead Gladiator also synergizes with your Bone Miser.

Running removal options like Clear/Forsake the Worldly, Expunge,Cast Out and Akroma's Vengeance might be useful. Your deck looks defensive, so maybe Choking Tethers or Djeru's Renunciation?

To bolster your control, maybe Compelling Argument or Countervailing Winds?

Scarab Feast and Rapid Decay answer decks that want you to mill them or use their own graveyards. Unearth gets low-cost zombies or Phantasmal Image back.

Maybe Abandoned Sarcophagus, while you're at it? And if you're cycling so much, throw in Fluctuator.

great deck im glad that the cycling archetype has a home it is something i was wondering about before. it needs more cyclers and enchantments for zur though. i recommend taking out something like Diplomatic Immunity for Solemnity or Steel of the Godhead or Grasp of Fate. it also is a bit cycle light and it could be hard to chain together a long line of cycling in one turn. some more cyclers you could put in are Vizier of Tumbling Sands, Expunge, Miscalculation and Complicate.

Some thoughts:

  • Baleful Strix is a pretty strict upgrade over Wall of Omens in this deck.

  • Sacred Excavation could be a good way to restock your hand with cyclers, although idk how much redundancy you need here.

  • Some other cyclers to consider: Expunge (kill spell), Scarab Feast (gy hate), Dirge of Dread (evasion for all your tokens or Zur)

Expunge and Ultimate Price are another options although very situational.

You were right on the Expunge, in testing I was using the cycling much less frequently then it's 1 extra mana cost warranted. Cycling 2 is no way to be battling the hexproof and protection in my meta, it's too slow and expensive while only netting me one card.

I'm also adding 1 Lightning Greaves; I was having trouble with Phyrexian Rager being 3 mana, and lightning greaves probably saves me a creature body, just like Rager, and it allows me to keep some speed because I don't have to recast a creature and wait for it to stop having summoning sickness.

I'm not going for Divinity of Pride though, it's mana cost is too high. I can't consistently get to 5 mana. I have to be fast/aggro, because don't really want to block and I'm running very little control. I think you may be used to decks with a bit more control :)

I need to keep the rest of the "digging" part of this deck, it's how I deal with mana/mana screw, and increase my chances of drawing the best playsets. Street Wraith, Sign in Blood and Mishra's Bauble all have a (slightly higher than) 22/60 chance of netting me a land, while also virtually increasing to chance of getting to a 4/60 playset. If things are going good, and I have enough mana/creatures/equipment I don't have to use them, and Street Wraith then gives me another body, and Sign in Blood gives me an extra card, or a chance to kill a 2 or 1 HP opponent.

There is also the problem of this deck sucking if I don't draw a combo of creature + equipment. If I draw equipment + equipment, or creature + creature, it's really bad, so I need stuff to be REAL tight, which I accomplish through the digging core enlarging the chance or getting to the most important core cards.
