Grotesque Mutation

Instant

Target creature gets +3/+1 and gains lifelink until end of turn. (Damage dealt by the creature also causes its controller to gain that much life.)

Henchman31: You may notice I dropped a couple cards from the sideboard already. Those cards were literally useless in this deck, idk what I was thinking back then lol. Cruel Feeding was too mana hungry, but Alchemist's Gift, Grotesque Mutation or even Essence Infusion seem like better options against burn and other aggro decks.

Innocent Blood or Tragic Slip for actual removal.

Feed the Swarm for enchantments, maybe. And (yikes) Universal Solvent is probably a bad idea because it will require a Dark Ritual to activate, but it does hit all permanent types, which is hard to do in mono-b.

And finally you also have things like Professor's Warning and Oblivion's Hunger, which are more on the defensive/reactive side, but can still jam your opponent's plans up.

Hope some of that helps. This is actually the best of three decks you mentioned, so I'll start here and then the other decks will take bit more thought.

One thing I'd like to mention about Innistrad-set artwork is that it has some of the highest concentration of first-person scenes in the game, pulling the player directly into the scene. See Hollowhenge Spirit, Village Cannibals, Screeching Skaab, Grotesque Mutation, Confirm Suspicions, and more. This, I think, makes the horror and the action of the set that much more personal and visceral.

cool deck!
It's always much more difficult to provide recommendations for pauper EDH because I usually don't pay attention to the rarity of cards, but I will do my best.
Also I was wondering, you are running some uncommons like the signets, gray merchant. are these because these cards have been printed at common in a different set or your playgroup is ok with some uncommons?
here are some thoughts:
Lab Rats
Syphon Mind i would run Bubbling Muck over dark ritual because it is great late game.
Armillary Sphere
Grotesque Mutation will guarantee that your commander will trigger if you cast it on an unblocked attacker.
Unburial Rites is a great card but not sure if you can play it bc it is uncommon.
Leaden Myr for more ramp
Expunge is pretty good removal.
Eternal Thirst is good for triggering your commander.
Mark of the Vampire is good too.
hope these ideas are helpful and let me know if you liked them, i can see if i can come up with some more ideas later

A good start but trimming some of the fat like Grotesque Mutation and Drill Bit and slotting in more rocks/tutors will make things a bit smoother. The blackhole sun list is probably the one you should try to emulate more than mine; that's the community list. Multiple minds are better than one :) best of luck with the build.

cool deck.
maybe Ball Lightning?
also i would run Rakdos Signet over Pristine Talisman. if you are worried about your life total maybe some extra ways to give greven lifelink would be good, like Eternal Thirst or Rush of Vitality or Grotesque Mutation.
also Fire Covenant allows you to pay an arbitrary amount of life to make greven bigger for a Hatred-like effect for only 3 mana. cool.
and Rogue's Passage maybe?
also i feel like you want Bedevil over Aftershock maybe - need that instant speed for your point removal.
same reasoning, i would consider Act of Aggression over Malevolent Whispers? i guess it depends how often you have a discard outlet so that madness is useful. speaking of discard outlets Skirge Familiar is a good one.
anyway just some thoughts keep having fun!

Why include Isochron Scepter? I can see the combo with Mystical Tutor, but do you get that combo off frequently? Maybe add in a Diabolic Tutor or Increasing Ambition to get the pieces together. Likewise you could add a other alternatives that you can trigger once Yuriko's ability is on the stack like Grotesque Mutation.

You could improve it a lot just by optimizing the cards you have. For example, all your hand disruption cards can be replaced with a combination of Thoughtseize, Inquisition of Kozilek, or even Collective Brutality. Researching, and finding the best version of each card can go a long way to improving any deck. Unfortunately, better cards tend to be more expensive, but if you can afford it you'll notice the difference.

Also, in an infect deck you typically want fewer creatures, more pump spells. So I'd cut Contagious Nim, and Bontu's Monument in favor of more removal/pump/hand disruption spells.

Finally, as a general deck building rule for beginners: to start a deck out pick 9 cards that you'd like to base the deck around. Run 4 of each, + 24 lands and BAM deck. From there you can shuffle things around a bit (fewer high drops more low drops/more lands or less lands/Varying your removal). This helps trim the fat, creates a consistent deck, and gives you a nice starting point.

Example:

Do your research, test it out, keep what works toss what doesn't. Always glad to see new players. Best of luck!

Piracy Charm or Grotesque Mutation might be good if you want some pump spells
