I see your deck is budget, and I wanted to suggest some budget inclusions for cards that would create tokens that also trigger Ayara's drain ability.

Chittering Witch creates RAT tokens!!

Abhorrent Overlord Generates a LOT of harpy tokens as your devotion to black will be large with Ayara in play.

Rise of the Dread Marn is a great way to refuel your board with black creatures after a board wipe or large death effect.

Lab Rats is a great way to slowly add more rats to the field with enough mana for the buyback price.

Josu Vess, Lich Knight can be brutal with Ayara on the battlefield if the kicker cost is paid.

Necrotic Hex can be a good board clearing effect that also makes black creatures.

Your deck could also use some cards to help find your enjoyed rat cards. Some budget options in black include Diabolic Tutor , Mausoleum Secrets , and Ratcatcher !

Some cards you're using aren't especially great in a singleton format. Cards like Compound Fracture and Hunt for Specimens could be replaced with Defile and Callous Bloodmage respectively.

Have fun playing EDH! The best suggestion is to play with others and learn what cards you like and dislike using and adapt with new cards that fit your budget.

cool deck!
It's always much more difficult to provide recommendations for pauper EDH because I usually don't pay attention to the rarity of cards, but I will do my best.
Also I was wondering, you are running some uncommons like the signets, gray merchant. are these because these cards have been printed at common in a different set or your playgroup is ok with some uncommons?
here are some thoughts:
Lab Rats
Syphon Mind i would run Bubbling Muck over dark ritual because it is great late game.
Armillary Sphere
Grotesque Mutation will guarantee that your commander will trigger if you cast it on an unblocked attacker.
Unburial Rites is a great card but not sure if you can play it bc it is uncommon.
Leaden Myr for more ramp
Expunge is pretty good removal.
Eternal Thirst is good for triggering your commander.
Mark of the Vampire is good too.
hope these ideas are helpful and let me know if you liked them, i can see if i can come up with some more ideas later

No Pack Rat or Lab Rats? Anyway - like it. Crypt Rats is a favorite of mine. Used to Run it with Scythe of the Wretched in mono-black deck of mine.

If you're running Vandalblast I would definitely recommend running Mycosynth Lattice AND Darksteel Forge

Still that's like 3 card slots for a very costly board wipe. Personally I'm surprised I don't see things like Kederekt Parasite, Tainted Strike, Barbed Shocker, Paradox Engine, Capsize, on your list, as they all synergize quite well. I would also recommend, tossing some of the Talismans & Signets despite being cheap for other more reliable mana ramping such as Darksteel Ingot Dimir Cluestone, Rakdos Cluestone, Izzet Cluestone (as they can all be sacrificed for a draw, and their Keyrune counterparts, as they can be turned into a chump blocker in a pinch if needed.

Isochron Scepter imprinting either Dark Ritual, Cabal Ritual, Desperate Ritual, Pyretic Ritual with a Paradox Engine on deck = Infinite Mana, for redundancy even with mana rocks out, Paradox Engine + Mana rocks, makes buyback spells VERY useful, as once you've got enough ramp Capsize = Infinite bounce, and there a few others that become arguably equally useful, such as Fanning the Flames, Lab Rats, Mind Games, Mind Peel, Reiterate, Whispers of the Muse, just to give you a few ideas. Evincar's Justice can be viable here too, although with Evincar's Justice you need to be mindful that it damages you and your creatures too.

Brush with Death essentially works like Tendrils of Agony if you take the Infinite Black mana route, naturally if it's countered you can't buy it back, BUT if you're wanting some redundancies for a storm / life steal win condition, it's there.

Leyline of the Void is a must add for any competitive Nekusar, the Mindrazer deck. With the wheel package you're essentially exiling everything your opponents are forced to discard. Toss in a Helm of Obedience = Player targeted, Instant kill activation.

Also, I would definitely recommend keeping Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, specifically to prevent the self-mill, AND Leyline of Anticipation, and adding Vedalken Orrery for redundancy. You can easily create a soft lock & turn it into a complete hard lock with Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir and Knowledge Pool, and why more people aren't running Day's Undoing is a bit surprising, given the redundancy to prevent mill, especially if you've acquired the means to drop it at instant speed, even on your own turn, to kill a stack & end the turn.

Also, with proper ramping, Barbed Shocker is pretty amazing, especially since it doesn't need to deal combat damage to force the wheel, (any damage it deals will trigger it), just saying. Rogue's Passage is a pretty standard commander staple too.

Liliana's Caress, Megrim, Raiders' Wake are also all must haves. Especially since, Raiders' Wake, Barbed Shocker, Shocker, (unblocked) or a Robber Fly (if you can force them to block it), & a Rogue's Passage can win the game by themselves, if your Commander or an Underworld Dreams, Kederekt Parasite is out.

Lab Rats and Plague of Vermin both create rats. Ogre Slumlord also creates rats but is not a rat itself.

You may be better off replacing Dragon Fodder &/or Krenko's Command with Goblin Offensive, Beetleback Chief, or Tempt with Vengeance.

I may be crazy, but it seems like pairing Young Pyromancer with buyback spells might be interesting with Prossh. Fanning the Flames could take the place of Burn at the Stake, Lab Rats or Wurmcalling or Sprout Swarm could take the place of Spoils of Blood, Reiterate is just plain good, Disturbed Burial has it's use, and Haze of Rage is a possible win con.
