Anybody pull Goyfs? Or any cool foils? Or just best pack of the night?
I got a goyf, a foil kozilek, elesh norn, ulamog, mox opal, and foil splinter twin. I wanted to buy another box, but the wife doesnt want to push our luck.

Dark Confidant; 2x Spellskite; Splinter Twin; Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite; Emrakul, the Aeons Torn; Mox Opal; Cryptic Command; 2x Remand; pulled a foil Mirror Entity for my allies deck, and a foil Bitterblossom.

Just finished opening them...best I got I think is a Mox Opal, Karn Liberated, Noble Hierarch, Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, and a Vendilion Clique.

I'm going out and buying a SoM Mox Opal because I don't buy pack. Does that count?
(The local card shop doesn't sell any suplimental product)

Jay: Its a filler card on rare sheets, supposed to be discarded. It's plain black with a holofoil stamp and in white letters "DISCARD".

How many "DISCARD"s are out there? If they are really rare they might become collectables.

When to a draft on Friday. Only pulled a Fulminator Mage for value, but went 3-0, but it was only a 4 player Draft so my store only gave me a DtK Pack and a Promo card. Opened the DTK Pack and lucked out so much more, Ended up getting a Foil Collected Company and Dragonlord Ojutai in the same pack. Came back the next day and traded them in for 30 Dollars store credit and used that for a Sealed game later in the night.
First pack, I screamed with joy as I pulled Foil Mox Opal and Kozilek, Butcher of Truth from the same pack. Both cards I have wishes for my Commander decks and kozzy for my modern deck i'm brewing. the rest of my packs all had value with the exception of the Ant Queen I neded up pulling on pack two, But getting a Primeval Titan, Splinter Twin Spellskite, and on the lesser end Eye of Ugin. ended up going 3-0 once again that night and was given a pack of MM15, traded it for two Planewalkers I wanted from someone. Ral Zarek and Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver. I felt really good when the guy who opened the pack got a Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and was actually in need of one he said for his Commander deck.

I entered two drafts for 60 dollars of my store credit and took first place in both, winning a total of 10 packs. Opened 16 packs total for 60$ credit. Pulled two Tarmogoyf , Mox Opal , Dark Confidant , Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite , and Cryptic Command. Tarmogoyf was the only rare/Mythic that I pulled multiples of.
First draft I was going for white/green tokens and then switched to white/black and had insane remove.
Second draft I was green/black with sacrifice abilities. I played like 8 1/1 a game.

I went to a card shop on Saturday with some friends to pick up some MM2015. I bought only three packs because I have no cash. I open two packs, saving the other one to open with my younger brother. I get Tezzeret the Seeker and Wildfire as my rares and Arrest and Deathmark as my foils, and a bunch of other crap. Then I get home late, and thankfully my younger brother is still awake. He does not play much Magic, but still really likes it. I hand him my last MM2 pack and tell him how to open it. He opens it and meticulously lays out all the cards. His rare: Comet Storm. He does however open a Rakdos Carnarium and a foil Boros Garrison. I then share a wonderful moment with him where I explain how all the cards he opened worked. He loved, and I loved it. It was a great contrast to my other friends, who only were happy with their pack because they opened two Dark Confidants and a Mox Opal. It was amazing to see someone happy with a pack that had the worst possible mythic rare. It was a rare moment with my sibling, and I will treasure the Comet Storm just as much as any other mythic because of the experience it gave me.

I've bought 4 boxes at very good prices.
First 2 boxes were my pre-orders at $250CDN ($203 US)
Opened one box, sitting on the other.
Box opened was over $400US value. - Retail value, not "attainable cash" value... but since I plan on keeping these cards and eventually playing them, it's all a plus for me.
Second 2 boxes were at $270CDN (220 US)
Opened one box, planning to draft with the other.
This box opened was over $450US value.
Both boxes I opened so far had a Tarmogoyf.... other noteable cards:
Foil Remand
Foil All Is Dust (plus a non-foil)
Foil Iona, Shield of Emeria
Foil Mystic Snake
Bitterblossom
Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite
2x Cryptic Command
2x Noble Hierarch
2x Wilt-Leaf Liege
2x Leyline of Sanctity
Numerous $4-8 foil common and uncommon.
9 packs into the second box, I was getting worried... nothing but junk rates and $0.50 foils... then, pack 10 was a Foil Remand and a Cryptic Command... almost every pack after that was value.
One thing to note though... even without the Goyfs, the packs more than paid for themselves.
I have since opened a 3rd box. - Not as good, but still got a little over MSRP.
Mainly a 2nd Bitterblossom, an Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, a Mox Opal, and a Spellskite (finishing off my playset)
In total I've only opened 3 of 4 boxes, but have received more value than the cost of all 4.

Just opened another box...buddy of mine opened a Tarmogoyf so I wanted to try my luck again. This box had an Iona, Shield of Emeria, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Dark Confidant, Spellskite, another Noble Hierarch, a foily Primeval Titan, a Tezzeret the Seeker , and a Fulminator Mage

When I opened my box I got a Remand, Lightning Bolt, Tezzeret the Seeker , Iona, Prime Time, Kosilek, Foil Ghost Council of Orzhova, Foil Puppeteer Clique, foil Izzet Boilerworks and even the big daddy of the set Foil Goyf! To bad I don't play modern huh? But I do like the EDH stuff I pulled.

My friend went 3-0 at FNM and traded his 3 prize packs in for MM15. I was the one who talked him into it. And guess what cards he pulled?
One pack. Almost $200 in cards.

I bought one pack and got an Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder. It took me literally two minutes to stop staring at it, with my face in an expression of disgust.
