The objective is to stay ahead of the other in cards and lands, protected untill one of the big winged girls come to finish the game.

What can be done:

  • Use Wall of Omens, Solemn Simulacrum for extra cards and lands.

  • Use Cloudshift, Otherworldly Journey and Restoration Angel for clean blocks or surprise blocks with those creatures or to negate targets for creature removals - and, while you do that, they enter the battlefield and trigger for more lands/cards (ramp-control)

  • If you have an angel (or is just desperate for cards), use Scroll of Avacyn for life and cards.

  • Get rid of big problems with Oblivion Ring and Wrath of God; you don't need an army to win, usually just one of the big cards, and you have Emeria, The Sky Ruin, so don't feel bad for killing your creatures if you need to.

  • Keep ramping until the badass ladies enter the battlefield and strike for the win - with all the extra cards and lands, it hardly ever takes as long as you think it would take. In the meantime, Baneslayer Angel and Gisela, the Broken Blade can provide you with some extra time with their first strike & lifelink combination (just remember that Gisela dies for bolts).

Sideboard with something to deal with early creature threats that are beyond the barriers (Path to Exile), land combos (Tectonic Edge, Surgical Extraction), reanimate and flashback (Relic of Progenitus), burn (Leyline of Sanctity).

A few testes and it is quite fun to play. Years ago, tested on a modern tournment and it ended in a draw vs Tarmogoyf Jund, win vs Soul Sister, draw vs a Hatebears and draw vs a UW control.Recent tests on two other modern tournments had it at a win vs WB Lifegain and Burn, draw and win vs two types of Rakdos graveyard-lovers, couldn't manage a win vs Through the Breach (though it seems possible sideboardig Path and saving Otherwordly), loss vs Storm.

The deck does take some turns but it has a consistent defense against faster decks, with some lifegain to hold the burn and the walls to hold some creatures. The card I fear the most is Thoughtseize as it can take down a key 4 drop and slow you down beyond recover, so consider the Leyline of Sanctity as a sidebard for this as well (no to mention as a sideboard for Liliana of the Veil, which usually comes together).

Finally, using fetchlands for deck thining can be useful, for sure, but I don't think it makes much of a difference in here payng 1-3 life on fetches for a tiny improvement on card probability: just as much as the right card can win the game for you (that lovely Wrath of God draw), the 1-3 less life can lose it to a bolt. Guess this is for anyone to decide based on budget and store-meta.
