Cerberus, son of Typhon and Echidna and sibling to the Sphinx, the Hydra and many others, is best known as the guard and the pet of Hades. It never slept, and would ensure that no soul could escape into the land of the living but also tried to keep the living out of the Underworld. Not that it always worked. Heracles was sent to get Cerberus as part of his Twelve Labours and Orpheus managed to lull Cerberus with his ethereal music.

This deck is based entirely on Underworld themes, with Spirits as its main creature type; Kunoros wants no one to be able to leave the graveyard and no one to get into the graveyard. Therefore I play as many anti-graveyard spells and cards that I can find, some of my favourites being Morningtide, Angel of Finality and Agent of Erebos. Yes, I play Release the Dogs because I want to make Hell Hound and Cwn Annwn tokens - and because Kunoros has some friends to help him drag your creatures back into the Underworld if they escape!

Everyone hates graveyard hate, so I am aware Kunoros will be a target - that is why I will try and use my graveyard stuff while Kunoros waits for me to summon him to guard again. This is a deck that I know already I need to play strategically but I cannot wait to play and tinker with it.

Can you tell I am upset the last Theros said was not wholly centred on the Underworld?
