Rayami with Ormendahl?
Asked by Lophane 4 years ago
Hey, I was just thinking of building a Rayami deck and I was looking for keyword soup creatures to give him some cool effects.
I saw Ormendahl on the list of indestructible creatures and I was wondering; if you sacrifice Ormendahl when Rayami is on the field, does the blood counter go on Westvale Abbey and Rayami gets nothing, or will it also read Ormendahl and Rayami gets flying, lifelink, indestructible, and haste... Any help is appreciated, thanks!
When transformed creatures leave the battlefield for any reason, flicker, etc, they transform back to their original face. Eg, Ravager of the Fells turns back into Huntmaster of the Fells Flip if it goes to the graveyard/exile/ flicker and et again.
I think unfortunately, it would be Westvale Abbey Flip that gets the blood counter, not Ormendahl, Profane Prince

In the future, if you have questions about rules, cards, or card interactions, please use the Rules Q&A section of this site. That has some added functionalities, such as linking cards to related rules questions, which makes it a bit easier for future users with similar questions. You can also “Mark as Answer” a post to indicate your question has been resolved.
I have gone ahead and moved this to Rules Q&A for you.
Also, it is helpful if you link cards by using double brackets:
[[Westvale Abbey]]

Rayami gets nothing. In exile, a card cannot be transformed.
