Can tokens morph now?
Asked by Yesterday 1 year ago
I haven't read through the new rules yet.
If you create a token copy of a Ravager of the Fells Flip, is the token considered to have its backside showing?
If you create a token copy of a face-down Scornful Egotist, is that token considered face-down?
Also, can you now pay the morph cost to morph the token?

^ also don’t mark this as accepted till we’ve got a few confirmations here. I’m pretty-sure this is correct but all these new rules are very-new and very-convoluted. I might be missing something in the reams of rules text.

Cheers.
A week of no contradictions is good enough for me.

Token copies of Ravager of the Fells Flip are able to now flip, though note that non-token cards that copy Ravager of the Fells Flip will not be able to.
From what i’ve read, even though tokens can now flip, they’re not allowed to know about their other face. In this vein, you cannot pay the morph cost of a token copy of a face-down Scornful Egotist, as the back side doesn’t have the morph ability.
