The main thing I wanted to go for when I was brewing this deck was that I wanted to make something incredibly resilient that can rise back from a near sure loss and turn the tide. This is the product of months of play testing and brewing.

The main win condition is pinging damage with the Cauldron Familiar. The fallback is just attacking, usually with Urza's Saga constructs. the deck can combo very quickly if you get the right cards in hand or in the graveyard. as long as you have 1 or 2 food generators such as The Underworld Cookbook or Witch's Oven paired with Academy Manufactor you can dish out a massive amount of artifact tokens very quickly. these can then be used to pump up your constructs or sacrificed to Time Sieve to gain another turn. Time Sieve can give infinite turns very easily in this deck.

the graveyard plays a primary role in our card advantage. throwing an Ovalchase Daredevil or a Cauldron Familiar into our graveyard early is one of the best things you can do. there are a few utility spells that can be used from the graveyard as well. Life from the Loam and Raven's Crime give us many options to use while we self mill and discard.

THE ENTIRE DECK IS PLAYABLE FROM THE GRAVEYARD!!!!!

Mainboard Cards

  • Academy Manufactor: This creature is the fuel to our engine. it makes it so we have a plethora of options to use and abuse when making tokens.
  • Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar: This creature is one of the best outlets for food use. it will be a primary target for removal and can remove some of the toughest creatures out there.
  • Binding the Old Gods: this card is great removal and can be gotten back by Tameshi, Reality Architect, it also helps to get our triomes for colors.
  • Boseiju, Who Endures: this card allows us to have incredibly effective and versatile removal for artifacts, enchantments and lands. it is also recurable with Life from the Loam, making it a centerpiece for disruption.
  • Cauldron Familiar: this is the main creature for our combo's. it will be our sacrifice target for Witch's Oven. it will allow us to block non trampling creatures easily and consistently. it is our best source for life gain and drain. and it is incredibly hard for opponents to deal with.
  • Conduit of Worlds: this allows us to get everything out of our graveyard if needed.
  • Insidious Roots: this is our main wincon in the deck, most cards in the deck will be able to trigger this effect. the mana ramp from the tokens is super helpful too seeing as we are splashing 2 colors.
  • Karn, the Great Creator: a protection piece against many of the strategies that hose the deck. also gets many things that are helpful.
  • Life from the Loam: this card really helps to mana fix and self mill early. it also gives us considerable discard fodder for The Underworld Cookbook when we do not have Ovalchase Daredevil in hand. also good when using Raven's Crime.
  • Ovalchase Daredevil: this is our main discard fodder for The Underworld Cookbook. whenever you discard this with the cookbook, it will return to hand once the food token is created. this allows you to discard it over and over again.
  • Raven's Crime: this card is mainly to give the deck the ability to cast Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar without having the necessary discard outlets on board. the self discard will allow you to discard a land and cast asmor for extremely cheap. the opponent discarding is just a bonus.
  • Shadowspear: this card is a package deal with Urza's Saga. creating the constructs and then fetching the spear allows you to have massive trampling lifelinkers. also helps to deal with hexproof and indestructible creatures.
  • Stitcher's Supplier: this is our main self mill card, and serves well as an early blocker and oven fodder.
  • Tameshi, Reality Architect: This is our main artifact and enchantment recursion card, it allows us to get back Insidious Roots, Binding the Old Gods, Worldwalker Helm, The Underworld Cookbook, Witch's Oven, and as a bonus it can also get back Urza's Saga which is pseudo ramp in a way. if you dont have another land to play that turn, tap a land for white, then return that land to hand getting the saga, then play that land from hand again.
  • The Underworld Cookbook: this is our main discard outlet. with Ovalchase Daredevil this can make a formidable amount of food quickly with little investment. can also grab creatures from grave when flooded or late game.
  • Time Sieve: this is our combo engine's other payoff. creating food and other tokens is great for the rest of the deck but this drives the win home. with Academy Manufactor and two food producers, this will churn out infinite turns.
  • Urza's Saga: this land is extremely important to the deck. it can fetch either The Underworld Cookbook, the Witch's Oven, or (when neither of those are needed) it can fetch Shadowspear. this card facilitates the power behind the deck. while most of our creatures are 1/1's and such these constructs are heavy hitters. especially with Academy Manufactor. these constructs consistently hit for around 13 damage or more.
  • Witch's Oven: this is our main sacrifice outlet. it allows us to sac and recur cauldron familar every turn. it also allows us to protect our creatures from exile effects if necessary. a common occurrence would be that an enemy will target one of our Urza's Saga constructs and the construct would then be sacrificed to Witch's Oven, leading to 2 food tokens being created.
  • Wonder: this card allows us to give all our creatures flying with zero investment. just chuck it into the graveyard and make sure you have a Watery Grave, Zagoth Triome, Island, or Spara's Headquarters out to make use of it. also keep in mind that many people forget to check for effects like this and could get a knockout without them realizing it.
  • Worldwalker Helm: This card is supplemental to the engine. it can give us more constructs every turn or give us more food tokens to combo with. the map tokens are just a bonus and help to buff up our constructs.
