This is my personal version of Esper control, budget, since i cant affort the big bad boys like Snapcaster Mage, Thoughtseize, Jace, the Mind Sculptor or the fetchlands. I call it budget but im including some pricy lands because you can easily replace them with usual dual lands and the shocklands are going to be reprinted so his price will be lower eventually.
So.. this deck tryes to win with tempo and card advantage, it doesent have that many Wrath effects since it focusses more on removing things one by one, countering spells, and making the enemy discard with Inquisition of Kozilek and Esper Charm. Esper Charm here makes a great great job playing the tempo game. You can draw 2 cards wich to be honest, is not that great for 3 mana, but doing so at instant speed when your oponent finishes his turn, is great. Usually is way better to use it to make your oponents discard, it doesent sound that good since, well Mind Rot is not played at all, but again, doing it at instant speed opens you so many posibilities and great versatility, i really really like this card (also, the kill enchantment option comes in handy often)
Anyway. You want to put as many cards on the graveyard asap to make use of your delve cards, here, Murderous Cut tryes to make the job of Fatal Push... Yeah, i know, is way worse, but it gives pretty good results, you dont even need to always exile 4 cards, you can exile just as many as you need. Im thinking of putting one Thought Scour more over Serum Visions but i really really LOVE serum visions so i dont know.
I know some of the cards
Well, this is my personal version of this deck, i play esper over grixis, or just U/W simply because i like it more, i think its way more fun and less played, wich makes it harder to your oponents to play against an unknown deck. Well, this is just rambling, i would love to get some advices for you guys, any feedback will be greatfull, thank you.
In "maybe" im going to put the cards i would like to play if i had more money, so if you have it or you already allow those cards, you can play 'em
