Sideboard

Maybeboard

The point of the deck is to dump dragons into the deck as quickly as possible, and make use of Whip of Erebos to bring them back. In this, it runs like most green black reanimator style decks, giving me the benefit of splashing red and white in order to make use of Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury and Dromoka, the Eternal to very rapidly deplete my opponents life total.

Comments absolutely wanted, I was to know everyone's opinion good or bad so long as it is slightly constructive.

Took the version that appears here to FNM Last night, here are the results

Round 1 Vs Red Green Monsters: 0/2 I lost this handily, at no point did I have anything that resembles a board state set up. Even after siding to deal with his stormbreath dragons, I could do nothing to stop myself from being demolished. I don't know what to do against this deck, be faster?

Round 2 VS Esper Dragons: 2/1 I won the first game without them ever resolving something against me, the only things they put on field were lands, so I didn't know what I was up against until game 2. Game 2 I only saw 1 of the four whips, while they saw everything to keep me from resolving a board state. I killed 3 ojutai's, to have them brought back via haven, and any time I set up a board state he managed to have back to back Perilous Vault. Game 3 was slower than anything before, as I sided out the commune with the gods and shaman of forgotten ways in order to bring in as many kill spells as possible. Anytime Ojutai turned sideway's he was met with an utter end to ensure I didn't have to deal with him again. I eventually resolved dragonlord Dromoka and continued on to victory.

Round 3: Some type of Esper Home brew 2/0 I don't actually know what I was going up against, as both matches took less than 5 minutes. I won hands down.

Round 4: ????? 2/0 I saw a thunderbreak regent, I saw an icefall regent, I don't actually know what I was playing against. No counter spells, not a single burn spell, I ramped into early dragons and continued onwards.

Top 8: Round 1: Red Green Monsters (Again) 2/1 I played the exact same person I played in swiss, this time I was better prepared. He won game 1 hands down, yet again, but I removed the shamans, communes, and dragonlord dromoka's in order to bring in any form of removal I had. This saw me keeping all of his beaters off of the field the next two games. Any time he resolved a stormbreath it was met with a murderous cut. Thunderbreaks fell to hero's downfalls. At some point he had 4-5 dorks on the field, so I Crux of Fate'd to bring those numbers out of attacking range. I resolved a Dromoka, the Eternal and a Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury and swung twice for the win in both games.

Round 2: Abzan Rally the Ancestors 0/2 This is where my night ended, as I proceeded to get less than 4 land combined in both games. The other player obviously won without any challenge from me. Might need to figure out how to fix the mana base.
