Upgrade: "more attack"
Lower mana curve to play more creature faster: - ex. first drops: Experiment One; in 2° turn I can evolve Exp.One with a Kird Ape or Wasteland Viper and a Vexing Devil , so I can attack with a 2/2 ora a 3/3 - ex. played: 1° round Vexing Devil (my opp pay 4 life); 2° round Experiment One and Kird Ape; 3° round Boggart Ram-Gang, then I attack with 3/3, 3/3, 2/3; 4° round Hellrider! - Gruul Charm is the best way to make my creatures unblockable; and it's the only card, with Lightning Bolt too, to kill my opp's flying creatures. But if I become faster, my opp will use his flying creature to defense. - Domri Rade the best way to draw: better than a Phyrexian Arena in a monoblack; while Garruk Wildspeaker will be my finisher in middle game to give +3/+3 and trample to my creatures.I tested it against a "B/G zombie-troll-counters" deck: win 2-1.
I tested it against a "monoblack discard" deck: win 2-1. I tested it against my "blue-green infect" deck: lose 1-2.If you would try playtest against your deck, please, give me any suggestion about, thank you.

Maiden Voyage Complete

Had a couple matches and I'm ready to assess the deck.
First thing I did was take out Ulamog's Crusher. WHAT!?!?! Yeah. Controversial choice, but the deck needs cards I can interact with more than just simple beaters. Had several instances into the late where it was in my hand, but I had better options on the field already or a Capsize in hand. In its place is a Cytospawn Shambler, which should help tremendously with theme, it's slightly cheaper, and it has Graft and counters to use.
As a result of how engine-y the deck has become, we've got more relevant protection. Elgaud Shieldmate has joined this little ragtag band of misfits to help create a better version of Diplomatic Immunity, because I really don't want to play something I can't target.
I'll also be working towards cutting as many sorceries as possible. With Guildmage on the table and decent enchantments or +1/+1 counters in play, I don't really want to tap out a lot on my turn. See Beyond Will probably become Lat-Nam's Legacy, stuff like that. The tricks are cool, and I'd like to have the option of either card drawing or more tricks on other people's turns.
Considered putting some counterspells back in, but the deck's been fine without them, and I don't take this format seriously enough to think I need to bring dynamite when I'm swapping fisticuffs. My meta is competitive, but it isn't the growls and teeth-gnashing kind. Guess that's me saying I haven't played any other blue or other heavy-removal decks besides Soulless One. I might play some unsummon-y style cards or something like that.
Still goofing around, taking cards in, pulling cards out. But this is what it looks like for now. Feels right.

Changed up my format. Added Blood Artist and Cartel Aristocrat for some sac damage. Added Doomed Traveler and Lingering Souls for cheap multiple run sacrifice fodder. Might add in Sanguine Bond now that it is legal again to use in conjunction with Exquisite Blood for infinite loop death.
More play testing

Ok so I played against a modern moni-black demon deck, the deck put up a fight, but unfortunately lost 0-2. First round he got, I can't remember its name but, a 2 drop 4/3 demon with undying who when dies goes under the opponents control, on turn two. Then turn ,4 he got Desecration Demon, I milled him a good amount but due to his creatures ability that lets him exile my creatures him he won that round.
Second round went very similar except turn 6 I got Jace, Memory Adept and turn 7 had a 14/14 Consuming Aberration on the field with Essence Harvest in my hand, he had 18 life to my 6, and he had both of the same demons on the field and I only had Consuming Aberration and one mana shy of being able to use Essence Harvest so turn 8 he won.
I then played his mono-blue mill deck, and my friends maze deck at the same time. I was able to keep control after turn 4 and on turn 5 I played a 16/16 Consuming Aberration, but by then i had 7 life,mono blue had 17 life and a 5/5 Jace's Phantasm and 2 other flyers, and my friend had a gatecreepers vine and a Fog Bank with 19 life. I lost next turn, and my next draw was an Essence Harvest, and i had a Breaking / Entering in my hand, so it would have made my Consuming Aberration 22/22 plus what would have been killed because of his ability.

I don't think I'll miss the Corpse Cur ability too much. I found that I was holding on to cards in my hand and playing it too safe when I had those and the Viridian Longbow in the deck. I don't think that's what I should have been doing at all. I'm already loving the protection from R/B and first strike. Pretty sure it was a good move.

Playing Abyssal Persecutor while my opponents had health, and after attacking, they now have negative health. I was the only player with health in the positive. Three questions: If I play Demonlord of Ashmouth, to exile the Abyssal Persecutor, will I win the game? What would happen if all players have negative health? Would we all lose?
This happened the other day, just want to know what the definitive solution would be. Thanks for your input!

Makes it a true 60 card deck even though I so love these cards. I just wish Elder Mastery was less expensive. But then it'd be rare.
