Why yes, I would like to have Aaron Donald as a Voltron commander. He's gotta have at least Trample and/or Menace as baseline keywords.

I'm generally okay with Universes Beyond, as long as they don't cross over into the M:tG-verse (which they've said is not going to happen, so it's good). A lot of them I only know anything about because of UB. So I look for individual cards that help my decks, rather than looking at the IP.
Some UBs I'd like to see are Discworld, Soul Calibur (too close thematically to Street Fighter?), Redwall (didn't happen with Bloomburrow), and as an outside shot, a major American sports league, preferably MLB or NFL. That's more than one or two, sorry.

Universes Beyond doesn't bother me at all. Play with the cards you want to play with. Nobody has the right to tell you differently.
The Witcher would fit in nicely in my opinion.
I wouldn't be opposed to something DC Universe related in the future but we already have more Marvel coming later (supposedly) so that might negate that possibility.
Dragon Ball franchise would be interesting to me. There would be so many ways they could go with it. As with other anime properties (besides Naruto).

I'm working on adding custom cards to some decks for an online tabletop game I'm running. I think I've got my cards uploaded from MSE correctly, but whenever I add the cards to a custom deck, the card is marked as Unknown. Is there some step I'm missing?

I was directed to post here due to cards being listed as illegal to use when that should not be the case.
I built a commander deck with Zirda, the Dawnwaker as its companion. Gorgon's Head and Diviner's Wand are red-listed for failing to meet the companion criteria of Zirda, the Dawnwaker, yet both cards have an equip cost which is an activated ability and thus they should be legal cards to use for the deck.

When Universes Beyond was first debuted via The Walking Dead Secret Lair, I felt pretty against the concept, especially the concept of mechanically unique cards in SLs. Since then, I've become much more accepting of UB, for the most part, especially after seeing how well designed some of the bigger sets were. Ultimately, I don't really care as much about the SLs since I rarely buy any.
Generally speaking, I think the IPs that are most similar to MtG in terms of thematics (LotR, D&D, & FF to a lighter extent) have blended most seamlessly with MtG in general. As much as I love Fallout and enjoyed the set, the differences in themes was a little jarring at first. In retrospect, I feel like Edge of Eternities and some of the "Hat World" sets of the past year, like Thunder Junction, helped expand the palatte of themes of Universes Within. I'm interested if MaRo will ever reveal that the thematic decisions for world building for those sets was to help certain IPs blend a bit better.
In terms of other IPs that I'd like to see get a Universes Beyond set, or a few EDH precons like WH40K: Elden Ring or any of the other "Soulsborne" games, Hollow Knight could be fun & provide a lot more insect & spider support, & maybe Dune since EoE definitely had some inspiration from it. Another IP that would be interesting, but I doubt would ever happen would be Stephen King's Dark Tower series, which is what I was hoping Thunder Junction could have been more like.

This is just my comment to this post so please don't take it as an extension of it that you have to respond to, however; you are free to reply to it if you want! For me, none of the Universes Beyond product IP's have appealed to me so far. I don't have any interests in movies, tv-shows, comics, or other tabletop games and while I do engage in videogaming I've never touched Assassin's Creed, Final Fantasy or Fallout before so all of those are moot as well. Despite that, I would like to have at least one Universes Beyond product catered to me as I have friends that really love a few of them and I'd like to have that same experience that they all got to have.
Personally, I don't think my interests align with most players, (and that's okay with me). I don't currently run any Universes Beyond cards in my decks due to having no interest in the source material for any of them, and I wouldn't mind it if other players felt the same way for cards from an IP that I would enjoy. That said, I would like to see a collab for either Disgaea or Azur Lane just so I could use a favorite character or two as a commander as I have a thing for cute character design that's juxtaposed with over-the-top action/explosions. I honestly don't think too many people would be interested in those IP's though, nor do I think there's any realistic chance they'll be adopted, but they're my picks as I don't feel there's any popular or realistic IP's I could see myself sleeving up cards for. Apologies if anyone thinks my IP choices would only further allienate the MTG brand, I still want MTG Universes Within to not deviate from what makes MTG, Magic the Gathering, and I would like to see WoTC handle either IP in way that would still be tasteful for any player who may have no interest in them.

And as a follow-up question; What would be one or two IP's that would appeal to you the most if WoTC were to ever implement that IP into the game regardless of that IP's themes, feasibility to be added, or popularity? What would you like the most about having it in MTG?
Universes Beyond is practically a part of the game now whether wanted or not. Instead of doom-posting about how it's, "Spongebob today, the Burger King tomorrow," I want to know to what extent the average MTG player enjoys Universes Beyond products. Are there any slam dunks for you or has WoTC yet to hit something you could actually feel excited for? More Universes Beyond products seem inevitable regardless of how favorably we talk about this subject, therefore; if there's a common enough IP desired amongst a good portion of us it would be best if that IP sees print rather than WoTC spitballing whatever IP's they think will appeal only to non-MTG players.
(Also, please don't factor in an IP's popularity or likelihood of being added when listing what IP's you would like to see, because if this sort of thing does happen it would be better if it's something unrealistic players would actually feel excited about rather than have it be something realistic that many players would only feel lukewarm about.)

this deck contains a lot of cards people hate such as Armageddon and both elesh norn.
the point of the deck is simple, you ramp until you are able to get your stip mine and/or wasteland that you will spam to blow up lands of others. the commander helps to get more odds of hitting them or just value because there's not a ton of draw in the deck.
valkyrie's call is in the deck to have a reanimation because a lot of the time people blow up the board and makes you think back on your life choices.
there's an ulamog in the deck in case you play against an otk mill deck.
the finisher is simple, you have the nature's revolt/etc and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite. if you can't use that, there's the triumph of the hordes with enough creatures. if by some miracle you can't do this too, u got armageddon with heroic intervention or splendid reclamation to do the trick.

Thanks for your answer, Femme_Fatale. I think the overcrowding deck editor issues can be resolved with an easy workaround.
- Ask users to input their contraption/attraction/etc decks to the sideboard (as it is now) and then after the deck has been saved, the TappedOut site should use an "if then" statement that checks if any cards in the sideboard have the subtype that requires an extra deck. If yes, create a new relevant headline e.g. "Attraction Deck" and list the relevant cards underneath. Atm, it is possible to undercut the minimum number of attractions in an attraction deck, because attractions are listed under the sideboard and don't have their own rules encoded.
- Regarding the playtest window, I don't mind how it is currently being handled.

I think it's wrong assumptions because people reasoned in the opposite direction. It's been common knowledge for 15 years that the eldrazi come from the blind eternities, so a set called "The Edge of Eternities" feels like it should border on eldrazi-territory. I remember when I heard the set announced, I thought of the eldrazi myself because of that, not because of anything Wizards actually said.

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful comment and the suggestions!
Mana/land has not been an issue with this deck. Sure I get mana-starwed occasionally, as I do with all decks. But the ramping works well here.
As for your suggestions, the only two I feel I would need is the Temur Battlecrier (OMG, How have I not seen this before?!?) and the Rattleclaw Mystic. Bloom Tender is nice, but can not mana-fix me in certain situations.
Reading it a second time, Reckless Barbarian did become a bit more interesting. But the two other cards are not for this deck I feel. The limitation of two basic forest in the search criteria for the sorcery, makes it not worth it for this deck. And the dragon itself is underwhelming at 5 cmc.
I should maybe test changing out Dragon's hoard for the Cursed mirror tbh. Best thing is if comes out as a non-legendary copy of something. ^-^
Thanks again!

I did a quick search for "Eldrazi" on MaRo's blog and looked through the most recent questions. His response here says that the single Eldrazi and Sliver were "teasers to what's possible in a space set".
I don't remember which card flavor texts or EoE stories mention it directly, but this wiki article might help. Basically, there was a war between the Fomori and Eldrazi at some point in the Edge's past. The Drix are Eldrazi hunters, and scour the Edge for any survivors of the conflict. I think they're more or less setting things up for another Eldrazi conflict, or at least some additional deepening to their lore.
legendofa on When did WotC talk about …

I'm trying to find something official from WotC talking about the role of Eldrazi in EOE--not story, but more like how big of a presence they would have in the set, how many cards they would get. I figure it's common knowledge by now that there's only one. I had guessed there would be a lot more cards, and it sounds like a lot of people also had that assumption. It's on the border of where they come from, after all. So I'm trying to figure out if WotC ever said anything that would lead people in that direction--"The Eldrazi will be returning in this set!" or whatever--or if everyone just guessed wrong and made bad assumptions. Does anyone have any original sources (so actually from WotC, not a journalist, content creator, or other third party) talking about how many Eldrazi there would be in EOE?

You're in good removal colors. Abrupt Decay, Maelstrom Pulse, and Assassin's Trophy all hit a lot of key cards for spot removal, and Toxic Deluge, Pernicious Deed, and Casualties of War are good board wipes for a reasonable budget.
On top of that, Insidious Fungus and Creeping Mold are decent thematic options.

I'm still a bit on the fence how soon I'll transform Norman. Getting him out super fast is good practice, the idea of transforming him by turn 3-4, not sure how that will play out, or if it's worth waiting. Burnished Hart has been an auto include in non green EDH decks since I first saw it in Theros. I predicted that card would at one point be worth something ($2 for a brief moment in history.) It's always been a good card to me. Thanks for pointing out the reason Training Grounds isn't worth it is for the one time cost; it's a card better suited to frequent activated ability use.

Are you counting cards like Utopia Mycon, Spore Flower, and Fungal Bloom as thallids?
What's your budget, or intended bracket/power level?
Doubling Season is kind of a default no-brainer card, but this really is exactly the sort of deck that uses its full potential.
Some kind of fundamental stuff is getting damaged through to players, and the thallids cards don't natively have any interaction vision or trample. I assume you would add something like this anyway, but I'd like to mention Cover of Darkness. It's not really overlooked, going off the price fluctuations, but it's not used as much as I would expect.
