Luis Scott-Vargas, Planeswalker descended from his kingdom amongst the Magic Card Hall of Fame Mountain, he turned to Urza next to him and looked down upon the plane beneath him. What he saw saddened the rogue planeswalker, a modern format which has been warped by shitty combo decks like scapeshift and tribal elves.

He decided that to achieve victory, he only need 4 copies of Birthing Pod to rain hell fire upon the combo players. He would out attrition them with super secret sideboard tech and badass creatures. As he began to playtest, he was defeated again and again. He fell to each and every lowly combo deck in the world. It was inevitable, then, that Luis must become stronger...So he locked himself in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber from Dragonball Z, and did not emerge from his intense training for 69 years.

When he did leave from his training grounds, he tested his mettle against the mighty planeswalker Marit Lage, she was decimated by his Turn 1 Birds of Paradise, following game 2...Luis collected her tears, he absorbed them into the card Storm Crow and infused it with great power. No player could match the mettle of the hardened Luis Scott-Vargas, years of Modern Matches had sculpt him into a well oiled decision making machine. Then the day came, that no one could defeat him, the Planeswalker looked upon his work with satisfaction...Blessed perfection had been achieved, it was time to take the deck to the next level. Friday Night Magic. The praetors Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and Sheoldred, Whispering One sensed whispers of the doom that Luis Scott-Vargas, Planeswalker would soon wreak upon the plane of Mirrodin (or rather the local FNM meta).

They went to their great lord Yawgmoth, father of machines. Yawgmoth appeared to Luis Scott-Vargas, Planeswalker, promising him great riches to play the preconstructed Modern Event Deck Orzhov Tokens. But Luis Scott-Vargas refused, and he showed up to the Friday Night Magic with this deck.

If you are a net decking Melira Pod infinite comboing P.O.S gtfo of this respectable and classy deck page. This deck includes one infinite combo, not having one was just too much of a liability however much I don't like them. Phyrexia is back and all of the cards from the set I really enjoy playing so I have compiled a pod deck centered around phyrexian creatures from the New Phyrexia block.

Turn 1: Land + Mana accelerant like Birds of Paradise or Elvish Mystic

Turn 2: Birthing Pod or another monster/mana ramp like Wall of Roots

Turn 3: Pod for Kitchen Finks or any other 3 drop

Turn 4: Start dropping large creatures or pod for Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite Restoration Angel whatever the matchup calls for

Always have the protection of Echoing Truth or sideboard cards

Another thing about Magic cards that i really love is the art! You wont find any poorly drawn arts in this deck! Just look at Lotus Cobra ! Crispy!

As for the sideboard, screw affinity and U/R storm! Affinity players are mediocre!

Also, an underrated move with this deck is instead of making "infinite" Deceiver Exarch 's, make 69 Deceiver Exarch 's to show your opponent just how hard you just won.
