Sideboard

I've taken this deck out to FNM yesterday (10/20) and went 3-1!

Round 1: 4C Energy 2-1- He ran me over with Thopter Tokens & Burn spells. - Game 2, apparently he sided out his Whirler Virtuosos & his Longtusk Cubs. Matchup was much easier after that. -Game 3, He brought back in the Longtusk Cubs. Towards the end I had a Longtusk Cub, Nissa, Steward of Elements with 6 loyalty & a Bristling Hydra he had an exerted Glorybringer, a ton of energy & maybe 10 life.

Round 2: "Grixis Gods" 1-2- I'm not actually sure what he calls his deck but it had 2-3 The Locust God, 3 The Scarab God & 1 Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh. Game 1 I won because as soon as he played The Locust God (on curve mind you), I preceded to untap & cast Confiscation Coup. He didn't really regain his footing after that. - Game 2 he cast The Locust God & The Scarab God. I managed to Confiscation Coup The Locust God again but then he stole it back with Hostage Taker. I couldn't really deal with either of them at that point. - Game 3 was weird. I was really aggressive at the beginning and he wasn't really casting much (I think it was mana problems) and I eventually got him down to 2. But then he played The Scarab God and begun to stabilize. The straw that broke me was that I stopped drawing anything relevant after around turn 7, which is hilarious because I had 2 Glint-Sleeve Siphoners out and I was draining my life to draw extra cards only to get Lands & Attune with Aether. Combine that with The Scarab God & The Locust God I just sat back as he finished me with flyers.

Round 3: RR 2-1- I won Game 1 but I don't remember why. - Game 2, he was having mana problems but he had 2 Chandra, Torch of Defiance in his starting hand after he finished with his mulligans and I kept a subpar starting hand. I couldn't deal with Chandra's utility. - I had 3 Fatal Pushs & Vizier of Many Faces while my opponent had a Chandra, Torch of Defiance, Hazoret the Fervent & 2 Aethersphere Harvesters. I cast Vizier of Many Faces copying Hazoret the Fervent, used an Aether Hub for used Hazoret's effect to discard a Fatal Push, then cast another Fatal Push targeting his Hazoret & swung for lethal.

Round 4: Sultai Energy 2-0- Something was up with his mana both games so I had the upper hand. I misplayed so game 2 went longer than it should have but I eventually got it regardless.

So even though I did great I realized some important things: 1. I never sided in Negate or Spell Pierce. I probably should have but I didn't and did fine. Maybe I can take out one of the 4 copies I have for something else. 2. I don;t have a late game mana sink other than The Scarab God & Nissa, Steward of Elements. Since I only have one of each if I play them and they get removed I have no late game staying power. 3. I get overrun if my opponent has too many flyers. I couldn't find my 2nd copy of Aethersphere Harvester so I only had one flier and that flier is dependent on having another creature in play.

If you have any ideas or thoughts on how to deal with any those problems let me know! Thanks for reading!
