Hey everyone! I have continued my plan to let the Soul-Scar Mages rest and build this deck! For those of you who don't know me all that well, you shouldn't because my only deck was deck:wizards-assault-10-1-1-record-5-3-in-gp. It was a blast to play, but did its best and couldn't go on to day 2 at the GP. It performed well at FNMs and it was hard hitting. Not saying that this deck isn't hard hitting, but just in a different style. How about Primal Wellspring ^Flip + Banefire?

I was forced to add White into the deck to include the best board wipes in post-rotation standard: Settle the Wreckage and Cleansing Nova. My brother's RG Sarkhan's Unsealing deck totally crushed this when it was UR because I had no answer to Carnage Tyrant and few answers to Ghalta, Primal Hunger.

I also took out a lot of cards that I felt didn't serve a need in this deck, and now with white I have some hard removal.
