This is a deck that aims to use the best of what is available in . People say you need Tarmogoyf, and while admittedly he's a big dumb beater ... he's just a big dumb beater, that is rendered entirely useless by graveyard hate. Grim Flayer, by contrast, has the built in capacity to rebuild after a Nihil Spellbomb or Relic of Progenitus activation, and unlike the Goyf has both built in evasion and card selection. That being said, we will use both here.

So we now have the deckbuilding challenge of efficiently turning on delirium. The result is a midrange deck that can pivot into either a slow control deck (against aggro, control) or a disruptive aggressive one (against Tron, combo); however, with planeswalkers, Snapcaster Mage, and Tasigur, the Golden Fang, what this deck will do in every game is grind out significant amounts of advantage.

In time I will write a full comprehensive primer for each card in the list and why it is there. Time permitting I will do the same for side-boarding and how to play in various match ups.
