Hello :-) thank you for your suggestion. To be honest I am thinking about it for long time. Can I ask you to be more specific why is Flamewake Phoenix better? I think because of lower cost, haste, and easier comeback? I will put there 3 (1 instead of Stubborn Denial). And may I also ask you about Your opinion if is better Heir of the Wilds or Den Protector? Thank You a lot and happy new year :-). Looking forward to your point of view

It may be just like colossus or octopus where the conjunction just works and is grammatically correct either way.
I guess wizards only know for certain.
The conundrum lies is sometimes jund style is good ( discard pressure removal). But in a longer game that style does not protect against top decks from the opponent. Or counter a storm players Past in Flames for instance. That is what my testing group calls the jund problem.
So then if I play counterspells what kind of configuration helps me maintain delirium for Grim Flayer while having enough counters, removal, and pressure?
I find a harder control build might have me abandon the flayer in that build forcing me into very few threats.

It varies from time to time I've never had the same matches there yet and I've been a mainstay for about a year. I am there for modern Mondays and FNM almost every time barring severe illness or work keeping me from it.
Name a tier deck I've seen it there even a lot of tier 2 or unpopular decks show up. Jeskai and grixes of all variants, Abzan, Jund, Abzan company ( milera combo),delver decks, hate bears, fish, combo you name it I've seen it.

Sure I'm just at an impass currently and need to decide do I go midrange or do I go control rather than straddling the line between them.

Now are there versions of BUG(Sultai) that mayou want goyf sure.
Does that mean you NEED it not in my opinion cards like Tasigur, the Golden Fang have been stronger for me.
For reference check my player page or my most popular deck pre AER changes Sultai's Hope (Competitive Homebrew)
Sorry to sort of hijack your thread cplvela0811 just had to voice my opinion here.

Ghor-Clan Rampager is worth its slots that card is fantastic.

Have you considered Renegade Rallier? That card seems bonkers in the kind of list as a top end.

Yeah I am testing it out in there as a pseudo finisher and value against the midrange match ups as well as a bit of flood insurance.

My father is a Marine served dessert storm and what not.
I'm army so same team one fight blue brother.
I've been testing decks to aim on getting and keeping him online. Currently it's been going well but fatal push will scewes the entire Balance of card types. My BUG Flayer went 3-1 last night at FNM. Only loosing to a merfolk player (the type that is putting foils and expeditions in the deck) and his nut draws 2 times in a row.
